Right now I have no new books in my kindle and it's killing me. So do you have a good recommendation?

I've read a few of Carolyn Hart's ghost mystery/romance books. They are fun easy reads that I can zip through pretty quick. Right now I have "Ghost In Trouble" and "Ghost Gone Wild". I've read quite a few of Sandra Brown's book and just picked up "Deadline" recently.

Right now I'm reading The Happiness Advantage by Shawn Achor and I think I'll read The Timekeeper by Mitch Albom afterwards. If I don't reread One Day by David Nicholls first. I read it at least a couple of times a year. It is by far my most favorite book.

I love Romantic Suspense. I just finished Dee Henderson's latest called Unspoken and it was wonderful.

I read almost anything once. Right now I'm reading reunion in death - detective series. I have devil in the white city waiting, as well as wicked, the power of habit, cropped to death, and a few books by Stephanie Laurens. Yep, I'm an eclectic reader.

I haven't read Sandra brown. I did like Lisa Gardner though. I'll have to check out Carolyn hart

I used to read so much when I was growing up, but I hardly ever do nowadays. I don't have an e-reader, tablet, etc. so on the rare occasion that I make it to the grown-up section of the library, I usually get a few self-help or recipe books so I can skim through them in the evenings.

If I have time to read, I'm rather scrap. :beat

I have found a lot of books and authors I enjoy through ereaderperks.com and pixelofink.com. I download a lot of the free books (after reading the reviews) and have found a lot of really good ones - there are very frequently the first book of a series there. Pixelofink had two there today I wanted to read and ereaderperks had one (I have about an hour and a half every day of carpool waiting time to read - can't scrap there! but I do have enough books downloaded that if I were stranded on an island for a few days with a battery charger I wouldn't run out of things to read!)

At the moment I have just started Flash and bones , by Kathy Reichs. So far it is good. Have an Alex Kava and an older Lisa Gardner waiting (the perfect husband).
For anyone that has Sony readers ;the American store is closing /merging with kobe( I think)- any way they have a sale, looks like lots of good bargains to me .

I adore books about small towns with quirky characters. FUN!!! Plus I still like a good scary book.

I read just about anything - the only thing I won't touch is romance. I regularly read 2 books at a time. I read on my lunch hour at work and into the wee hours of the night. :) I love suspense, action, comedy, thrillers, books about family, really just about anything.

Right now I'm reading Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare (Mortal Instruments author). Just finished What I Had Before I Had You by Sarah Cornwell. Very good book. I also recently read The Returned by Jason Mott, Necessary Lies by Diane Chamberlain (just meh on that one) and The First Days by Rhiannon Frater (zombie apocalypse series, characters are a little annoying but I will read the next one).

If you're looking for a series that may be a new one for you - the Flavia de Luce series by Alan Bradley is one I'd recommend to anyone. Same with the Parasol Protectorate series by Gail Carriger.

I'd say my favorite is literary fiction although I read a wide variety of genres. Romance and self help are about the only things I don't read at all.

If I can't decide I usually browse through goodreads or check out http://www.whatshouldireadnext.com

awesome link, Keely - thanks! (i still don't have enough reviewed books in my goodreads to get recommendations - lol!)

I vacillate back and forth between romance and mystery/crime/suspense. I'll get just sick of one and switch back. I don't tend to read scary ones when I'm home alone (too much nightmare potential, I find). I find most of my new book suggestions on FB anymore, being in a few book based groups. I can definitely get my fill of romance there!

How can you have nothing at all on your kindle ??? That's like having an empty purse lol

Right now I'm reading therapy by Kathryn Perez love it and can't put it down

I read a lot! Last year I read 250 books on my kindle.

Mostly romance and new adult

I like finding new indie authors via good reads, book reivew FB pages etc

I often search the free books for kindle at amazon

I also signed up to NetGalley where there are quite a few books that you can "read now" for free or "request to read" for free, in exchange for an honest review - which I leave at goodreads and amazon

Oh girls, you are awesome, look at the long list I have now. I read almost anything, but magazines. LOL!!!

If you like comedy/romance/mystery....have you read the Janet Evanovich series? They are fabulous! I've read them all!

I like a good fiction story but I do not like romance novels. A few to check out if you haven't read them include: The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency Series, Temeraire Series (mix of history and fiction with dragons which is pretty fun), and I also like books that encourage my faith like books by Beth Moore, etc.

Hm. A few years ago I was going through an intense Stephen King phase. Then I was into Urban Fantasy but quickly got "meh'ed" out with the repeating tropes and cliches; it didn't help that the line was blurry between Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance (which I can't stand).

Right now...hm. Looking at my Kindle program, I'm into mysteries, some SF (mostly classic stuff I haven't read yet), a little fantasy (I love the Eli Montpress series! So funny!) and more than a few books about ADHD. Oh, and horror. Still love my horror. I just "discovered" Joe Lansdale, and ooo-boy. Most "lit" I could do without. I'm a genre girl.
