I spent the majority of my day out looking for something new to wear for our anniversary/Valentine date, DH's birthday which is Sunday, my nephew's birthday next week, and ingredients for this year's Valentine dessert... Mexican cheesecake! I don't love shopping so there are a zillion ways I would have preferred to spend the day.

(my DH stayed home with the kids today because he had a headache and then out of nowhere my 5 y/o started puking...somehow think he got a bug from school but seems to be fine now.....and that would be ME that took a nap LOL)

Volunteer Exhausted Pain

I volunteered this morning at my son's preschool...did a lot of standing and walking today and I am so tired. My foot is really hurting tonight from all the walking/standing now.

I've been running non-stop at work; bringing home work every night this week and still behind on deadlines. Also had three different medical related conversations today.

Me.....I've got laundry and chores piled up. I'm tired b/c I haven't been sleeping well since I've been worrying about my GD who is having a terrible time coping with life and worries me. Hence....all the stress. I'm so glad for my friends (real and cyber) and for scrapping to keep my mind off stressful things. I'm praying and hoping that she gets the professional help she needs and can turn her life around. I have a sweet hubs who helps to keep me calm and centered during all this turmoil.
