Pad Patter: 12/9: Hair

Sadly, not enough. I used to cut & highlight every 8-12 weeks. Then I dyed back to my natural color and stopped getting it cut so often. It's looking rough so it needs a cut soon. But I'm trying to let it grow because I had cut it shortish and loved it for a couple months, but now I hate it.

I can't wait for the day that I'm confident enough to set myself free and just go gray! Right now I just feel young and all my gray hairs make me look older than what I feel. I think in about 7-8 years I wouldn't mind the gray so much.

I'm quite a bit older than you Christine...there's no way I'm ready to go grey yet. I'd be mostly silver too...or more salt than pepper for sure. I'm not sure at what age I'll go grey, but it won't be for awhile. I know that makes me sound pretty vain...but I like my hair (I'm darker than my photo)...I like the color, I like the way it makes my skin look, etc... I know I can't stay this dark forever though...because at some point that will probably make me look older. Right now it's good!

Well. I haven't had my hair professionally done for 3 years now. It is naturally blonde and the gray coming in almost looks like highlights. I trim it every now and again and have dh even out the back but since I curl it daily I can get away with a lot. Lol

I get mine coloured/highlights and cut every 3-4 months. Between salon visits I do a root touch-up at home... I'm about 90% gray and have needed to colour since I was in my early 20s.

I get mine cut whenever I can't deal with it anymore..lol!!
I have only had my hair streaked twice and dyed once... but I think now that I have a little more gray creeping in, I will have to think about home kits...
