Pad Patter: 12/9: Hair

Every 2-3 months I go in for the works. Cut, color, highlights, and eyebrow wax. I found a great salon only about 25 minutes from my house that will do all of that for $65. Can't beat it!
 
Every 6-8 weeks for a trim and about every 3-4 months for some color although the last time I did my own color. Didn't turn out too bad either. :)
 
I don't color, but about every 10-11 weeks I go in for a trim and eyebrow wax.
 
Cut every 8-10 weeks... I color my hair (whole head) at home now, because I have so much gray that it's just easier and cheaper to do it every 2 months at home. I used to get highlights at the salon every 3 months or so.
 
ummm like once a year when my hair just gets too unmanageable I get fed up and go get it cut short. I just don't want to spend the money on haircuts, especially since I pretty much just stay home all day unless we have a homeschool thing or have to go to the grocery store. I know I should probably get it done more often and DH has been hinting that I should get it colored (I used to dye my hair when we first met) but I just don't want to deal with the maintenance that is required with colored hair.
 
I've been getting it cut about twice a year. I have a stylist I just love, but she's very expensive!
 
I'm totally embarrassed to say. :blush I haven't had a cut since we moved here a year ago. Eeep! I soooo need one. If I find a "home" in a stylist I'll probably go back to having it cut more regularly and maybe toss in a little color.
 
I'm so bad with this! I just get it cut when I think my hair is getting too unhealthy.. haha.
 
Since I have longer hair again I'm only getting cuts every 3-5 months. I color my own hair too because I have one noticeable grey stripe right in the front and it's annoying that it stands out so much when I pull my hair back. I've had it pretty much since I was 18 for some weird reason but it has gotten thicker over the years. I've heard from several people that it's probably from an injury at some point in my young life. You'd think I'd remember bonking my head though. :)
 
i get mine colored about every 6 wks and now that it's longer i get it cut every other time. my brows i get waxed when i go in for a color.
 
i am not too concerned about my hair - i get it cut two or three times a year and i color it myself. i should do it more often though b/c by the time i get a haircut i am in ponytail wearing stage for at least a month. i actually got a cut today! woohoo! i do my eyebrows more often, bc i get those done at the nail salon.
 
I get a cut and partial foil about every four months now that I don't have a real job and all of my spare money is sucked up by TLP. LOL!! I lucked out with my salon awhile ago because they offered a living social coupon deal, so I get to go next week for half the price. Yay! Just in time for the holidays, whew!
 
I get mine cut every 6 weeks or so. I used to color it myself every 4, but after 15 years of coloring I'm going natural (gray!) I just can't take the chemicals anymore. I'm scared that I'm going to look like my grandma, but relieved to be set free!

I can't wait for the day that I'm confident enough to set myself free and just go gray! Right now I just feel young and all my gray hairs make me look older than what I feel. I think in about 7-8 years I wouldn't mind the gray so much.

I'd still be doing it, I'm sure, if hadn't developed a sensitivity to the chemicals. Even the "natural" brands bother me like crazy. I keep telling myself that it will look "striking", hehe.
 
Im trying to grow my hair out right now. The last time I got it cut was around September. But I cut my own bangs if they start getting long. I really was tempted to get it cut short early this year but when it get it cut short it just poofs out. But B4 all of this growing out I would say I would cut it every 3 months.
