How do you like 'em?

French fries are one of my biggest weaknesses. But I'm not sure I'd turn a potato down in any form.

French fries or chips. Hashbrowns are good, too. I'm less of a fan of mashed or baked.

I will eat any kind of potato. Sweet potatoes are probably my favorite. And I also think French Fries were probably one of man's greatest "inventions". Yummmm..

mashed. With gravy. And I do love french fries, too… as long as they're crispy.

my son made these mashed pots with the skins on from red pots, with ranch, sour cream and bacon bits! I tell ya, I just rubbed them on my hips, cause they are gonna show up there later!

oh... homemade potato chips. YUM. Even better if sweet potato chips... Love.

I normally eat low-carb, which means no potatoes. But on Christmas Eve, I will be eating these. Which are not low-carb. But Christmas. :P

oh potatoes are a weakness. I will eat them any way!
My favorite is a good ole spud cut down the center and filled with chopped beef bbq, butter, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and red onion. NOT low cal or low carb... but so, so, sooooooooooooo worth it!

Lorry - that sounds good! I too don't eat many potatoes b/c I eat low carb but if I do eat them, I love french fries or steamed potatoes that are put into frying pan with a bit of butter and rosemary and slightly flattened with masher and sprinkled with salt & pepper.

I don't think I've met a potato I didn't like. Fries, chips, mashed, au grautin, roasted, hash browns. There's a Cuban thing called papa rellena, which is a big ball of potato, fried, with some meat in the middle. It's so good.

I'm so hungry right now because I forgot to eat lunch and I'm still stuck at work. Reading this thread made it so much worse!

YUM YUM YUM!!!!! Just about any form here as well! When I was young mom would take us out to eat at a buffet place called Duffs. I remember I always had mashed potatoes, french fries & potato chips on my plate with mac & cheese. LOL!

All forms as well - including potato pancakes. I can't eat them anymore cuz I'm doing low-carb but I love all forms. :)

Had mashed potato jsut about everymeal when I was growing up - not a big fan of the mashed variety now ;) However roast potatoes or chips (which is what we call french fries here, just to be confusing) - yum...

They are my weakness too! Chips, fries, baked, mashed... anything goes!

You all inspired me to have a baked potato for dinner, with sour cream and cheese.

There is a restaurant in my office building that makes hand cut french fries with a little bit of a lemon salt on them that are to die for! I let myself have them about every three weeks or so. Those things are phenomenal! Other than that, really crispy fries anywhere else. Much prefer them to have skins on them. I love sweet potatoes too but they are just not the same. My only saving grace is that I don't crave potato chips.

I love potatoes but have to be very careful and only eat them on rare occaisions. Anne's saying she just puts them on her hips as that is where they will end up is my issue too which is why I rarely eat them.

I love my homemade potato salad, my mother's raw potato pancakes (german style made from raw potatoes grated not already cooked potatoes) and potatoes any other kind of way... garlic mashed skins on or off are yum, and I too have never met a potatoe I didn't like. Baked potatoes I love when the outside skin is really really crisped up. oh my so long since I had one like that my mouth iswatering over here!!
