What do you miss most about being a kid?

I can't say I especially enjoyed being a kid, or maybe I just still act like one. Maybe mine would be to not have this old feeling body so I could run around like I want to. Also, naps. I miss naps.

I'm not a napper ... I miss freedom of running around with neighborhood friends all day and not coming home until dinner time ... not a care in the world.

Deftly like the idea of having a young body to run around in too, though!

I take more naps now than I did as a kid.

I miss the focus and clarity I had when I was younger. I was really organized and on top of things and could finish pretty much anything I set my mind to fairly easily. These days I feel like I'm all over the place and have a hard time being productive. I'm not sure how much of that is old age and how much is just being a parent. Those darn kids!

I definitely take more naps now too. I never napped as a kid! I remember in kindergarten, when there were scheduled nap times, I laid there on my mat, bored and annoyed that I couldn't do anything else. But I didn't nap!

I know now why they say youth is wasted on the young. I miss the energy but not the ignorance about how to use it.
