Pad Patter: 12/4 Pay for housecleaning?

I pay $111 every other week. I hate it every time, but it is nice to have the house clean all at once. LOL

Can I come live in your town Anne!? I am completely overwhelmed with toddler mayhem and want, no need, the help!

Oh how I wish I had someone! Too expensive for me especially since I don't work. I need to get on a schedule in 2015 for a good cleaning routine...and then pay myself each week. ;)

Well, it took us about ten years and several false starts to find someone we can accept. But I have a great lady who come every second week and does a very decent job. Anne, I'm not so compulsive as you. I don't wash down the walls every week, but I do want the furniture moved, the baseboards cleaned, etc. With my husband and I working long hours and me traveling for work - and my rheumatoid arthritis, I couldn't do it alone any more. I finally put my husband in charge of solving the problem and he found a great lady referred by one of his customers. She also said she loves to do our house, because we keep it so clean.
I do not clean before she come though. And she does laundry, but not windows...

I pay 85 dollars every second week. It's so worth it. For the first few months she came every week till we got caught up. But now every second week is enough.

I had someone come twice a month when I worked full time and they were my favorite days of the month, hehe. I would LOVE to have her back, but can't justify it now even though my life is just as busy. When the family income is cut in half, those luxuries are not an option. I wanna cry just thinking about it, LOL.

And I agree with Angie. If I could have it done for $45, I'd totally find a way. Without feeling guilty at all!
