I do not like to be cold. I mean I hate it.
I can live with heat....sun blaring heat...but
winter cold that makes my bones ache is torment.
What about you?
Cold
or
HOT?

I am always cold.

DH is always hot.

Makes for some not fun times in our house....like in January when we lived in Chicago and the bedroom window was always open because DH would get overheated even with the bedroom vent closed. The bedroom window is open here as well right now. I'm not a fan.

Our thermostat is set at 66 as a compromise...I'd rather it be at least 68 (70 would be better), DH is happiest at about 60...at least it's closer to my end of the spectrum...lol.

I can't do hot. I grew up in Florida and left as soon as I could because I was miserable there. I just can't.

I'm also my husband's personal space heater at night. He puts his icicle feet all up on me to warm up. I don't mind. This is undoubtedly one of the reasons we work so well together.

Is cool an option? I don't do hot well, especially if it's humid and I have fair skin so I burn easy, lol. My ideal temperature is mid 70's to low 80's. If I had to chose I would say cold because it is easier to warm up then it is to cool down :)

I used to not mind the heat so much, but menopause has made it so unenjoyable. I much prefer the cold.

I grew up in Texas and thought I knew heat, then I moved to south east Asia, the tropics, where hot season means it stays in the 90s to 100s around the clock for at least 2 months, maybe more, oh and we had no electricity for six years of that. THAT is heat, and I don't like it one bit.that being said, living where I have means I don't do cold. I spent one Christmas in Colorado and nearly died. My husband laughed at me because I refused to shower for three days because I did not want to take off all my layers. Can I just go with 60s and 70s?

I tend to be Goldilocks-- I want it JUST RIGHT-- which is about 70. I do like the coziness of layers and warm fluffy socks in the winter, but I hate hate hate being too cold OR too hot

Oh I would rather add a layer than be hot and nothing to help

can i go an inbetween ??

i hate cold and if had to choose would then go with prefer hot but inbetween in happiest with

Native Floridian here. While I don't love 95 degrees with the humidity like we have for months at a time, I tolerate that better than being cold. When I travel anywhere cold, I can never seem to add enough layers to stay warm. I look like the Michelin Man.
