Pad Patter: 11/25 - Glasses

Yep. I've had them since I was about 18 or 19.

I hate wearing them. Hate the way I look in them, they are a huge pain in the buttcheeks. I wear contacts very, very occasionally.

I have a pretty severe case of chronic dry-eye so contacts feel awful if they are in for more than a few hours at a time. And due to the dry eye I'm not a good candidate for Lasik, so I'm kind of stuck with glasses.

I got glasses in college...only needed them for lecture classes. Then I started wearing contacts after I graduated from college and was teaching. My eyes haven't changed much over the years...

I hate wearing glasses! I had scratched corneas a few years ago and had to wear my glasses for 3 months. I went in for a Lasik consultation but was border line dry eyes at the time...but they think it was just b/c of the scratched corneas. I need to go back for another consult and have the surgery!!!

I've never needed glasses. I even had an eye checkup this past summer to make sure I still don't.

I've worn glasses since mid-high school. PITA, they are! I've tried contacts over and over, but my eyes are SO dry, they can't tolerate them. I'm about due for another trip to the eye doctor to see if they've finally created my miracle contacts!

I got glasses in the third grade, and it's been downhill since! I switched to contacts in 9th grade and now I just have glasses to wear at night after I take my "eyes" out and in the morning before I put them in. I literally can't see a few inches from my face without them. I went in for a consultation with my eye doctor last year to discuss Lasik and guess what?? My eyes are so bad I'm not even a candidate
