How often do you grocery shop? Do you go to more than one store? How many people do you feed and (if you feel comfortable sharing) how much is your average weekly bill?

I grocery shop once a week, though I occasionally pick up some random things during the week. I go to a local chain and Whole Foods. I also go to Costco about once a month. I feed 4 people, 2 of whom are gluten free and have special dietary needs. Due to all the GF stuff, my average grocery bill per week is about $250.

I mostly just need to feed myself, but I also have to buy food for my doggie and sometimes pick stuff up for my mom. I usually shop at Pathmark, but the one closest to my house closed, and I shop at Whole Food or farmers markets when I can afford it. And since I'm shopping for one, I just pick up stuff when I need it. My bills range anywhere from $10 to $100. This reminds me, I need to shop soon since there's not much in my fridge after my vacation LOL!

We have 2 adults, a 10 yo and a dog. We go for a big trip once a week and sometimes to pick up some small stuff another time. Probably about 150 dollars a week. My husband buys lots of snack foods...he is addicted to snacking...lol
We mostly shop at our Super Walmart but go to HEB or pick up things at Target too.

i shop once a week at typically the same store. doesn't seem to matter if i go 1x or 5x a week - the cost is always around the same large amount. i am a coupon-er, though, so i typically save 10-12% with coupons. every bit helps considering i feed 6 mouffs.

I just feed myself for the most part. My boyfriend doesn't like to eat my "weird" foods lol! I am gluten-dairy-sugar-egg-soy-fish-nut-free and the specialty food costs a fortune of course. I hate paying $8 for a loaf of bread! lol! But it's worth it. I guess I probably spend $100/week on food for myself.

I hit the regular grocery store on my way home from work every other day for fresh meats and vegetables, and I do the health food store for everything else on Sundays.

We are a family of 4... 2 nut allergies, 1 with acid reflux, 1 corn, soy, pecan & rye allergic & diabetic...

I shop 4 stores pretty regularly our local store, Whole Foods, Target (best price on Horizon milk 3 packs), and Trader Joes... plus I joined a co-op for fresh organic fruits & veggies. My bill is about $200 +/- per week when it's all totaled up.

I feed four and shop once main time per week and sometimes can stretch that out to almost two weeks with a few small trips for milk and bread and whatever I forgot for my meals the first time. :) We just got a new Meijer near us, so I go there whenever possible because it is SOOOO much cheaper and they have a better selection. We have a Martins and Hardings with .5 miles from our house though, so I go there for the quick trips. I spend $125-150 per week roughly.

We are a family of 4 - 2 adults and two boys - 13 and 10 and two purebred Labrador Retrievers.
I pick up milk, bread etc. throughout the shopping trips.. but for the most part.. I spent around 350 every two weeks. (includes the $50 for dog food). For the most part, I shop at No Frills and Walmart Super Store.

There's me, DH, and my oldest son (a recently separated, handsome, young man but I'm just his mama) at home and I'm a shop-as-I-go person so whatever strikes what we'll eat that day or next couple of days gets me to the store. I'd say, on average, we spend about $75 a week.

Well we just went gluten free here so I anticipate our bills going way up, but I can actually can see a difference already so totally worth it, imo. I shop once or twice a week (and DH does the occasional milk run) at Publix,Whole Foods or The Fresh Market depending on what part of town I am in. I spend too much but there are 6 of us, 4 of them boys.

I hate to grocery shop! My DH does a lot of it, because he loves me LOL. There are four of us and a dog. My girls are huge eaters, like locusts. We go to Sam's for milk, bread, eggs, coffee. Our main store is HEB. I go to Sprouts too, they tend to have better produce and I like their bulk items. I try to meal plan (I'm hit or miss) and aim for a once a week big trip but we eat a lot of produce and often have to replenish in between.

It's DH, 2yo DD, and I 70% of the time, and we have 9yo SS the other 30% of the time. SS eats like a bird at meal time and then tries to talk his way into eleventy billion snacks between meals, so he actually eats much less than the normal amount I would imagine a 5 foot 100 lb. 9 year old boy would eat! DH is GF, and while we do have a few gluten-y snacks in the house, I make all our meals GF, so that adds up. Let's say we have 3 whole people if we combine DD and SS and then the dog! :giggle

I try to shop once a week (Mondays or Tuesdays) at Kroger (where we live the prices at Walmart and Meijer are not significantly cheaper than Kroger), but usually have to go back at least once (or persuade DH to do it on the way home from work) for meat and milk.

I shop as little as possible, I hate it! There are 5 of us and I probably spend about $150 to $200 a week on average. I am gluten free and two of my kids are dairy free, so we have the higher cost as well. I coupon when I can, which helps, but it still pains me to pay $6 for a little cube of faux-cheese!

There is five us that I feed. One baby who is on canned food, and boy does that add up each week! I make a grocery list and try and hit Walmart and Kroger all in one day. It just depends if baby is in a good mood. If not I break it up between two days. Since I coupon I also occasionally hit Randall's and HEB if they have a killer deal. I also participate in a local produce co-op every two weeks. All in all, I spend about $100 a week on groceries.

I feed four people and the dog. We go to Jewel or Dominick's or this great local market or Trader Joes every week, usually alternating them. Costco 2x a month. Whole Food 2x a month. I just go as we need things. I can't get everything we need in one place it seems. And since we have something going on every night between 4-6 we end up eating out too much, too. I spend about $200 a week I think.

We usually shop once a week and bita and pieces when needed in between. We spend about $150 a week, for 4 of us.

I shop at different places, sometimes doing everything at one place and sometimes I will go to a grocer, then an asian supermarket, then aldi, then butchers.

I run a daycare in my home so I feed 7 little kids (including my 2) and 2 adults. We shop every few days and spend between 300-400 a week, not counting going back for milk and fruit/veggies when we run out.

It's just DH and I, and I normally do one full shopping trip per week and possibly 1 or 2 quick runs if we need anything extra during the work week. I'd say we average around $125-$150, sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less. I usually shop at one store because I love their produce department and that's where the bulk of my spending happens. I shop elsewhere though if I see a great deal on something we typically stock up on, and then it's only for those particular sale items.

We feed 6 mouths. We do very little processed food. So I make most meals from scratch, other than Mac and cheese, which has to be Kraft, and chips, and some cold breakfast cereal. I go about 2x a week, but one is normally just for fruits and veggies and milk, and then sometimes a quick jaunt on Saturday nights to be sure I have all the stuff for our Sunday dinner. I am not picky on my stores, whatever is most convenient as long as it is not too pricey. We have no special diets. I think I spend around $250-300 a week. I would love to be a couponer, but I haven't found a successful way to do it...I am not patient enough, and think if it is on sale then I should get it even if we don't normally get it and then I am not saving any money after all. haha! anyway, that is us.
