Pad patter: 10/15 how do you clean?

I also have a help who comes once a week... Yay, lucky me...

Allthough she didn't came this week and I am struggling right now...
 
I clean sporadically and enthusiastically .... I would rather be reading haha

Cleaning lady comes every other week. I think what's more important than what she does while she's here, is what she forces me to do the day before she comes. LOL. Every other Monday is a mad dash to tidy up so she CAN clean.

It lasts about a day.
 
What is this cleaning you speak of? :giggle We do okay at keeping the clutter in check, but the cleaning part... not so much. We often joke that we need to host a get together at our house about twice a month just so we HAVE to clean. Since both my hubby and I work full time, we also both help with the cleaning, so that is super nice.
 
I watch "Hoarders: Buried Alive". As long as my house looks better than those, I'm in good shape!! LOL

See this is opposite of here...I do ok at making sure stuff is clean usually (not super deep cleaned mind you but clean enough)..however tidy is not a word ever used to describe my house. We always have a million projects going on, and more important things to do than to make time to put these projects away. I hope with every move for a fresh new organized start, but honestly unless I hire someone (which I'm terrified to do) I'm pretty sure we'll always be clutter magnets. It doesn't keep me from trying though..lol. We have a fire pit in our back yard here, that I'm planning on making extensive use of..lol. Bonfire anyone???
 
i am generally pretty good at keeping things tidy. and I will vacuum. but i hate to dust.

i did spend two days this week washing all the windows, so I feel like that is enough for this week! haha!!!
 
im not fond of housework dont get me wrong were not durty but were not house proud but i do find when im angry or upset i get the whole house cleaned cause i take my anger out on it
 
WE just started this Saturday hour of power thing. Granted I have a lot of helpers, but in one hour, the house is scoured. Kitchen, bathrooms, living room, dining area and homeschool room! I mop each room after all done, and my hubs does the full vacumn. My oldest mows the lawn and takes a couple littles for help! It was wonderful!

Holy Cow. That is AMAZING.

We have a small group at our house every Tuesday night, so at least the "living" areas are cleaned for that once a week (it does work, Karen). Then my DH likes to invite people over on Sundays a couple of times a month... so there you go. Bob's your uncle. Cleaning under pressure.

Let's not discuss the bathrooms that company doesn't see.
 
Oh we love having a houseful after church! Every other Sunday we have 3-4 families and then once every 6 weeks the whole church! About 150 plus!! bhahhaha
