Pad Patter: 10/14 - Sandwiches

i'm not a big cold cut fan. i do like pepperoni and salami on occassion. and i'll eat ham or turkey, but kind of as a last resort.
if i'm going to eat a sandwich, it is almost never on regular slices of bread. i like sub buns, or hawaiian rolls...something with some character.
and mostly i prefer hot sandwiches - buffalo chicken or something like that.

I love to make grilled pb&j!! After typing that I think I need to go make one now!! They are so yummy when the peanut butter gets all melty.
As far as meat sandwiches, I am supper picky about meat. I usually buy it fresh from the deli where I can get it sliced super thin. I can't stand thick meat. My favorite meat sandwiches are the turkey and cheese from Jersey Mikes. They make the best sub sandwich ever.

I eat the typical. But I doll them up with spinach in place of lettuce and fancy mayos or even Thousand Island dressing. I love to swap out bread too like sourdough one day and pumpernickel rye the next.

I will eat almost any sandwich as long as it's panini pressed.

I don't eat sandwhiches.. just the insides.. lol.. example... Tuna sans the bread! ;)

mmmm ham, cheese, lettuce and tomato sandwiches on fresh warm bread :D

sandwiches just dont do it for me as i cant stand cold meat so my sandwiches are boring cheese egg or bacon so i have them only the days im at work

I recently went through a "sandwich phase" . . . deciding they were easy to prefer within infinite combination possibilities . . . so for dinner we were having sandwiches at least twice a week. Our favorites:

a dense bread like sour dough slathered with pesto and sliced grilled chicken, fresh mozzerella slices and fresh tomatoes
hot ham and cheese on a chewy roll with a smear of mustard . . . even better with pear or apple slices
roast beef and provolone with a horseradish mayo and fresh lettuce and tomato
