Pad Patter 1/8 - Sunday

For us, it's a big breakfast, meeting up with friends in the afternoon for a birthday and preparing a roast for dinner today. Maybe catch up on some scrapping time this evening.

Today, probably napping as I've had less than five hours sleep last night..lol!! Scrappin' tends to do that every once in awhile. Other than that, just veggin' around the house and getting ready for another work week.:)

For us Sunday is getting up at 8, out of the house by 9:30. DH has choir rehearsal 9:45-11 AM at church and I just sit there and read (I'm not in the choir :)). Mass is at 11, so we generally get home by 12:30. Or later if we have to go grocery shopping. Lunch, then a nap (DH always insists but I try to avoid it if possible, otherwise the whole day is gone!) or crafty time. Occasionally, laundry.

Today though I am sick so I stayed home and I have to say it was really nice to spend the morning working on my crafts! :blush

I run on Sunday mornings with the people I train... today we did 8. And I played soccer last night. So probably not much else going on today. Maybe a nap as I only slept 5 hours last night, also.

Sundays are usually fairly quiet for us. Although today I went out early and did my grocery shopping that I didn't get done yesterday. We'll get the dogs out for a run, probably do a few errands. And hopefully I will have time to get a page or two done!

One of my boys works on Sunday. My husband watches football....ALL DAY...

I walk in the morning and I'm usually on call on Sundays. I need to go get ready now just in case I need to go in. If I don't, I'll run and get some shopping done, and then hopefully scrap a little and read. Basically a lazy'ish day unless I work.

Kenzie goes to Sunday School, chores around the house, sometimes meeting up with friends, relaxing with reading or scrapping, Once upon a time.

Today we met friends for breakfast and went shopping afterwards. Now I am catching up on stuff.

I do a lot of cooking on Sundays so that I don't have to cook much the rest of the week. Because of my weirdo diet I eat meals of meat/carb/veg 3 times a day and none of it can be pre-packaged/processed. That amounts to a heck of a lot of cooking! So I do it in big batches on the weekends and freeze individual-sized meals in tupperware containers. So far today I have 7 meals in the freezer but I'm about to go in the kitchen for another round of cooking.

Aside from that we just chill, run errands and play at our hobbies.

ours is usually church, lunch, play (beach/playground/something outside as a family), nap, cook out all while laundry is happening. lol.

Off to church 10-12:30. Come home for dinner then spend a quiet afternoon. We make the kids spend an hour in their rooms napping or reading so we can nap. :) Then generally football in the afternoon and back to church at 6:30. We get home about 8 and put the kids straight to bed, then Brian and I eat supper in front of the TV and try to enjoy a last few lazy moments before the new week begins.

DH gets up with the kids on Sunday and makes a big breakfast. I sleep as late as I can and still manage to get everyone to church. We go to 10:45 service and get home around 12:15. Sunday afternoon is always relaxation and puttering around for everyone. I make a nice family meal and we typically eat early on Sunday. Then it's back into the school bedtime routine before the week starts.

The boys and I get up at get to Sunday School (I teach Kindergarten) by 9:00. DH gets to sleep in and meets us at church at 10:30. We get home by noon and I almost always make breakfast for lunch and then we all chill for the rest of the day. Sometimes I do laundry and clean. Today... we had a family Nerf gun fight throughout the whole house. It was pretty awesome. :) There are Nerf bullets EVERYWHERE! Hee hee...

for us it's sleep in, then breakfast (DH loves omlets on Sunday). then we go to church at 10:45-12:15. lunch, then a few chores to get the house ready for the week (like pick up toys and put laundry away). other than that it's just play / relax.

For us, we're up at 8 and at church at 9. We go to a parents group bible study and then the service afterward. It's over at 12:15. Then we either go out for brunch or come home and eat. Watch the Bears if they are on. Usually do something family oriented, like have a quick game night or watch a movie together. Or sometimes the kiddos have a basketball game or a swim meet. This Sunday we went to the ILs to celebrate my FIL's birthday and were there all day and evening.

I like to relax on Sundays. I like to sleep late, catch a movie with my sister, do some scrapping. Sometimes I go watch my friends perform at an open mic night. And then there are all those good shows on.

our typical sunday is rhys football game in the morning my huband takes him while i look after the other 2,he watches him comes back we swap kids,he now takes fin to play his football match he also coaches his team, while this i happening i cook dinner,he comes back we have dinner get the kids stuff ready for school the next day then tend to chill out

I'm usually up around 8, heading to church then the gym and I'm home around 3pm (the joys of sunday public transport - takes me forever to get home)
