Let's play finish the sentence:

You know you're a scrapbooker when...

your husband is talking about W.A. ("double you, aay") and while you're half-listening while cooking, it takes you more than a second to realise he's talking about Western Australia, a large state that makes up about 1/3 of the land mass in our country, and not Word Art.

. . . at the beginning of the day, as I'm thinking about my plans for the day, I remember that there will be a new prompt in the Weekly Challenges about journaling and I'm excited to find out what it will be. (I'm on my way to find out now.) :)

... when you're out for the day on a lovely long walk with friends/family and you take photos and immediately start thinking of possible products to use for those photos.

... when you like the turn of a new month because it means new challenges.

... when people email you about certain events to ask if you're gonna scrap it and to ask if you need pics for your LOs.

Oh, and when you take a picture simply cuz you know you've got just the right kit in your stash to scrap it!

You pose your children for photos, just so you can use the latest and greatest digi products!

You make your hubby change his shirt, so he won't clash with the colors of the kit you'll be scrapping those photos with... hehe... done it more than once. He now asks, if what he's wearing is acceptable.

this is how i've gotten thru MOC in the past when certain challenges have stumped me, but waking up with a great idea in the middle of the night isn't exactly conducive to going back to sleep!
I have been thinking of what I would do for the sept challenge so that is what has been circling in my head as I try to sleep!!

When you go to take a photo and spend 10 minutes before hand moving things out of the way or angling it just properly so when you put it in a layout, people won't see your mess, or your child who's running around in his underwear doing funny dances...

When you have Chinese with your daughter and husband on two separate occasions, and make a scene with the soy sauce and chop sticks and fortune cookies and fortunes . . . you know, because I started doing it and now I can't stop.

When you train your children well. When my son turned 21, he went out with some friends and ordered a beer. The waitress brought it to him she just handed it to him. He told her that she had to ask for an ID, he took a photo of her looking at it, took a photo of the beer, and of him drinking it, and of the empty mug. He sent me the photos and told me the brand of beer that he had so I could journal properly. (That was 9 years ago). Last year, he didn't think it was weird when I asked him to take a photo of his sweetheart on her last "first day" of school -- and she was working on her Ph.D. My daughter is good at getting photos, but not as good as her brother!

That is awesome! You've trained him well! I hope I can get my boys to do that for me once they are in high school and I'm not with them as much!
