Happy National Something on a Stick Day! This is a fun one because there are so many options! What comes to mind first when you think of something on a stick? When’s the last time you ate something on a stick?
Corn dog. Lol. The first thing I thought of and the last thing I ate "on a stick." We have the state fair that happens annually down the street from us. We always get corn dogs there. Other than corn dogs and popsicles, I don't think I've ever had anything else on a stick.
Kababs! This is one of my favorite ways to cook in the summer when I don't want to heat up the house. Load a bunch of meat and veggies on a skewer and cook on the grill!
Popscile or a corn dog! mmmm Me and Asia had Korean Corn Dogs the other night stuffed with cheese and hotdog rolled in hot cheetios it was sooooo good
Fudgsicle. Orange push up. Popsicle. All things I ate in my childhood when at the swimming pool. Haven't had any of them for many, many, many years!
My favorite? When someone spiral slices a potato, then deep fries it and sells it on a stick. It's like potato chips but so fresh and delicious! I do love a good Thai chicken skewer though. Yum! Most common - corn dogs and popsicles.
Sugar Daddy ... Love these pops, but they are soooooo stickey!!! Also a fan of Fudgsicles and regular Popsicles, although I rarely buy them.
Orange push up! Those were my favorite growing up! I just bought some for my kids because they’d never had them before lol
The potatoes are called Twister Potatoes. I looked just for you! And the chicken skewers are just awesome. Check your local Thai place! Official Name: Chicken Satay
Popsicles are called ice blocks there? I love learning these things! I am a HUGE popsicle fan. My daughter just requested some for her birthday instead of cake and ice cream.
No clue re the last thing I ate on a stick LOL.. I loved as a child getting Ice Cream from the Good Humor Man.. I always loved the Chocolate Chip Ice Cream as it had the chocolate bar in the center (Also when I was 3-4 years old my uncle was a good humor man during the Summer [of his college years] on the bicycle with the freezer in the front... My Grandmother would tell us Grandkids [my brother & I + my 5 cousins] to go into the garage and get an ice cream.. my Uncle had no idea what was going on [he was 19 lol] that he had no profit and always owed to Good Humor around $40 LOL! We still laugh at that now!)
The first thing I thought of was a Corn dog. The last thing I ate on a stick? Hmmm, chicken on a stick from a Chinese buffet...and that was quite awhile ago!
