Someone asked for help on how to organize their digital supplies so they would use their kits and not sit in your EHD forever. I was thinking that I have a pretty BIG list of kits that are in my MUST USE mindset but they are sitting in my EHD just waiting to be used! Some are in my WISH LIST at the store waiting for me to have the PERFECT pictures to be used with them. I am here to CHALLENGE you to USE IT NOW! Yes, you heard right, I want to motivate you, to inspire you to USE those kits and even mix them with NEW products. The more you use your old or wish list items, the better you will feel of your spending because you are ACTUALLY USING your products. Sometimes I need to remind me to use some boots this season just so I feel ok buying new boots to fit my new "need". (or want, whatever!) So here is how it works, I will be giving you cute quotes of encouragement like the one above and you get scrapping! Use an older items, kit, product, bundle, Mix that older item with a newer item you just got and show us how we can make it all work. Please follow TLP's Gallery rule: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed. I was just looking at my digital files and mine (TLP) only go back to mostly January of this year. I don't have any real old ones, but I'll find some that maybe I forgot about.
OLD is relative.... I am 44... and just recently I announced to everyone that the 40s is the new 20s. LOL!!!!! I bet as soon as I hit 50 I will proclaim the same thing. LOL!!!!
At first I thought you were asking/challenging us to organize our stuff. That will never happen for me! I love this challenge idea to mix old and new - awesome!
I used an older template and products from the October 2015 BYOC along with NBK Designs' Indian Summer packs.
That's great! Real nostalgia! I looked them up and the original black and white high top Chuck's were brought out in 1949. Converse started making athletic shoes in 1908. It was a fun article to read and about how they became known as Chuck's after Chuck Taylor. It's so cool that they're still so popular.
Dalis: So fun, I love using my old stuff. I bought Wren and Zebra Diaries back when Rebecca was in Tangie Baxter's Shop, then they both moved over to Lilypad last year. Combining with a new kit from Rebecca - Street Sketches was really fun.
