Oh Friday, sweet Friday!!! Weekend plans?

Yes, that's right, the weekend is here!! What are your plans?

Having been stuck at home with my sick little one for 2 weeks, I am going to get out of the house. That's all I know...LOL
 
I really need to get motivated to do some work today... :blush I followed DH out of town for a business trip (we drove yesterday, he's working today, and I'm in the hotel, supposedly working...) since it was our last chance to do a weekend together for a while. We're going back home tomorrow though, since DH has an early day Monday and didn't want to get back on Sunday. Still, it's better than nothing! So tonight we're having a nice dinner out, and heading back home tomorrow after lunch. Nothing planned for Sunday, other than Church and packing (DH will be gone for 10 days).
 
Boys have a soccer game tomorrow and then our church is doing a Mom/Son Amazing Race event that we are signed up for and they are over the moon excited about!

Sunday will be church and probably just hanging out with Micah who had to work last weekend and late several nights this week.
 
My daughter has an orchestra concert tomorrow, totally looking forward to that, and we are going to do some cleaning. and enjoy the warmer weather.

Sunday is church and family time (just chilling)

I have been sick since Tuesday with a very sore throat and head crapola...I am hoping I can down enough water to get over the worst of it before tomorrow.
 
tonight: family movie night - gonna watch Cars (they finally had it at the library) and can't wait to see Isaac's face :)

Saturday: Dentist appts for the whole family :/ (we haven't been in years, and this is the first time for the kids *blush*), Mark wants me to go look at countertops so I think I'll do that during naptime, and then it's date night in with hubby after the kids go to bed :)

Sunday: hoping to go to church... we haven't been in 3 weeks because of sick kids, so hopefully we can go this week... then we might go to IKEA in the afternoon to look at countertops and kitchen stuff, then in the evening I'll prepare for the week of homeschooling
 
Oh Becky that sounds so fun! I'd love to do an amazing race thing with my kids! I can't wait to see pics. You should wear matching windbreakers. LOL

Tonight is Pinewood Derby race night, which is a big event in this house. And my kiddos have three birthday parties and some sports stuff this weekend. I have another big Little League coaches event on Sunday that I'm prepping for now. It's been a busy month here. I'm so looking forward to Spring Break at the end of the month.
 
I have the house to myself all weekend! So I hope to do some cleaning and plan to watch whatever I want on TV! :) LOL!
On Saturday, I'm going to my friends house and we're going have a crafty day. I'm bringing my Smashbook along with my digi stuff!
 
Yea, it's Finally Friday! Wahoooo!

Not much going on around here, especially since we just finished Round 1 of rain yesterday and Round 2 is going to be a real soaker starting tomorrow evening ALL THROUGHOUT SUNDAY into Monday. We expecting up to 6" by Monday morning. :(

So, other than watching alot of movies and just takin' it easy, I think we're going to be inside most of the weekend. We're just going to play it by ear and fly by the seat of our pants. LOL

Y'all have a wonderful weekend! Next week.....Oi! Gotta work 12 hours on Tuesday and Thursday but the following week.....I'm off the entire week for Spring Break! So, gotta get through next week and then I'm off! Oh Yeah!
 
It's parent/teacher conferences this week, so we've had yesterday and today off. Kids came down with the flu yesterday, but all seem much better today. I'm having company tonight - Uppercase Living party and DH is taking kids to the movies.

Other than that...that's our weekend!

my plan for the weekend is always to sleep.
i never succeed with this plan. It's been a long brain week .. i didn't want to get out of bed at all this morning.. at least i don't "have" to tomorrow :p

Tonight is DH's last day of second shift, so it'll just be DD and me hanging around tonight. We have my SS this weekend, and it should be nice-ish outside this week, so maybe I will 'force' DH to take the kids to the park while I do some clothes sorting and tidying. I'm hoping to talk him into grilling out Saturday night. We'll have church and the ILs Sunday.

DH starts working first shift next week and has Spring Break, so he'll be home every night at dinner like regular folk. I'm not sure how I will handle that! :giggle

Only one more week until the Dave Barnes concert! :beat:beat:beat
 
Well, we were *supposed* to go to a birthday dinner for my FIL tonight and then we were taking the kids to see The Lorax tomorrow. But, we've been hit with pretty bad colds, so I think we'll be skipping most of that. :( DH will probably take Ian (who isn't sick) to the birthday dinner and we'll have to get refunds/credit for the movie tickets that we already bought.

I guess it will be a really boring weekend of staying home and resting. Hopefully, that will mean a lot of scrappy time for me, but somehow I doubt it. :p
 
I worked a 1/2 day today - yay!!! Then I had lunch with a new friend here and tonight we've got to go somewhere for dinner because the leftovers I'd planned for are non-existant.

I have to do some grocery shopping, weed the garden, rake up the yard, clean the house, go for a run, etc. Scrapping for sure - I'm feeling mojo-y.
 
DH works during the weekend so it isn't really like a weekend. I have to start packing for our move. I want to finish and print my journaling cards for last weeks project life. I'm looking coward to TLP designer chat this Sunday. I also have to take care of some paperwork for my MIL.
 
I'm running an all day crop at my church tomorrow, so as soon as I got off work today I started cooking and I just finished. My feet are tired! :) I'm making all the meals for 18 people tomorrow and hopefully I'll get a little time to scrap too, but I'm not counting on that. Sunday, will be Sunday School and Church and then I'm going to veg on the couch and read for awhile!
 
This week flew right by! Dd and I had another Girl Scout cookie booth sale tonight, but I wasn't in charge this time, which made it much easier! And the weather actually cooperated! The forecast was for cold rainy nasty weather, but it must have missed us. :)

No specific plans for tomorrow. There's an internet marketing lecture that dh and I are attending on Sunday. It's going to be slanted towards helping magicians draw web traffic, etc., but hopefully I'll be able to get something out of it I can use too, and not just get roped into working on dh's stuff for him. :giggle
