Nutella | Pad Patter 2.5

My son loves Nutella, and especially loves Nutella crepes.

I don't really care for it, which is probably just as well!

OMG, that was my child's lunch almost every day in elementary school. A nutella sandwich. She wouldn't eat anything else.

Thank goodness I don't care for it!! I don't need to make my list of sweet addictions longer!

We don't have it often but I love it on crepes or with pretzels

Oh yummy! I love Nutella. My two favorite things to do with Nutella are:

1) whole wheat toasted bagel, spread Nutella and top with banana slices
2) banana/Nutella crepes

I guess Nutella must go with bananas for me! :giggle

I spent a summer in Italy when I was in college and the group of teens I was with spent all summer eating nutella. They would pass a spoon and the jar around. It is just meh for me.

My poor little granddaughter was given a pretty Halloween cookie covered with chocolate frosting. Unfortunately, it was Nutella and she ended up in the hospital because she’s allergic to nuts. We all learned a lesson about being more vigilant in regards to her food intake at gatherings. I do like the flavor of Nutella but I just don’t have it around.

My youngest has nuts allergies so he hadn't had it until last year. When we had him retested, the doctor said he could have hazelnuts, no allergy to hazelnuts. Now he LOVES Nutella and eats it by the spoonful. I'm not the biggest fan.

I do my own Nutella, in a blender, I put hazelnuts powder, unsweetened cocoa, a spoon of rapessed oil, stevia mix with erythritol and, mix all well for some minutes, and will be done enough for a jar. Actually taste pretty near to the original. I had added a little bit of vanilla powder, and taste exactly like the original. The rapeseed oil is a neutral oil, what it means that has no taste, no smell and doesn't change the original taste of the food, so that's what I use.
I don't buy the original nutella because includes sugar and palm oil, what it's a bomb for the heart.
@bcgal00 have you been trying to do your own Nutella my dear?
