Hi Everyone! Happy November?! Really, the time has flown so fast, again! We are getting cooler temperatures, darker evenings and starting to go into cozy hibernation mode! I get to host the Random Challenge, and I was stumped as to what my challenge would be! I decided on a simple style! We are going to focus on a style - BLOCKING! I want to see repeated blocks of squares or rectangles on your pages. They can be papers, photos, or squares surrounding an empty block in the middle. Use your creativity! If you need help or examples. please tag me! There are loads of templates in the shop that can help you along too! Check these out! Here is my page. I used Just Jaimee's November 2016 Storyteller Kit, and Scrapping with Liz's Snappy Album! I can't wait to see what you create! Have fun! Don't forget... As always, please remember the monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the July Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
Here's one from me. I believe it fits because I use multiple square photos, multiple rectangles including the word strips. If you think it doesn't fit, please let me know & I'll redo it.
Hi there! It looks like you double posted... I think this one goes in the Scrapift challenge, by the title.
I hope this counts, I was thinking of blocking and then I noticed that even though the triangles make the rectangles I was seeing it is triangles after all.
one of the things i love about pocket pages is the clean (or clean-ish) look of the repeated blocks - i like to break them up sometimes and not just have cards or photos in them though. here, i did that with the tag/paint section
