My daughter's birthday is coming up next week. She will be 27. It is like a punch in the gut. Granted, I had her when I was 18, but I'm still in disbelief that I'm *that* old. Most of the time I feel like I'm in my 20s still. How does any of that make sense? LOL.

How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?

My older daughter just turned 39! 39...where did the years go!?! My younger daughter is 36... arrgh! I feel like I'm in my 40-50's in my head, but the body looks 67 which is how old I am.

I'm 37, but this is basically how I feel.

I was 39 for a long long time. Then I was 45 for a longer time. I jumped 50 altogether.I was never 50. Funny enough didn't mind being 51. And 56 is fine. Maybe I have finally "grown up ".?.

Lorry's graphic is perfect, only replace the 40 with 50, which is what I will be in a couple of months. I'm ok with it and don't really think about it much except for days like today when I am meeting with the new teachers who are younger than my children and who weren't even born when I started teaching. I was helping the seniors practice for graduation a few years ago, when one of them said to me "I bet this makes teachers feel old" and I said "Yep, especially when we watched their parents do the same thing!" I think if I had to pick an age, I'd pick 35 or so. That was when I felt like I had it all together.

many of my friends are turning 50 this year - I still have a couple of years before that happens. I think I'm an late 30's/ early 40's mindset. More confident than my 20's and early 30's.

And I totally am with Lorry!!

I'm 35, but would gladly have stayed 32...by then I had all 3 of my babies. I don't really want to go back to before them. :)

I am not a fan of getting older. I'm 38. Sometimes I feel like an old fuddy duddy. Though, I still shop in the Junior Plus section. People usually think I'm in my 20s, but I have a white streak in my hair that betrays me every 4-6 weeks :)

I'll be 65 in a couple of weeks, so that begs the question - should I retire or keep working. I look and mostly feel closer to my early 50s which is still not that young. Hohum, I don't really care too much about my age, as long as I am healthy.

I just turned 28 last month and most of the time I feel that age especially around much younger university class mates

^^^ That's basically me, Jenn. About to be 43, but feel more like the mid 30's.

Funny, from the time I was about 20, I never felt much different on birthdays - until I had my first child at 31 and then all the sudden it was like, wait - I'm really an adult!??!

I am going to be 48 in a week and a half.....where did that come from?! I would go back to 40-42 I think. Some days I feel 103, but for the most part I look and feel mid 40s :)
