Let's see. Last week someone let our dog Baxter out on Monday. My husband finally found him that Monday night at 11pm on his last drive through the neighborhood. Poor Baxter, daughter and everyone were so relieved and happy when he was finally home. (we'd only just put our sweet minipin Radar to sleep the week after my son's birthday) Then today, as I was driving my son home from school, this woman pulled out of her parallel parking spot and ran into me (while I was going 40ish). The windows shattered on the passenger side of the car, and my car made a huge arc & ended up facing the wrong direction and in a different lane. Fortunatelly my son and I seem to be okay, but I'm going to take us both to a doctor soon as I can. Yeah. And now my husband is acting like it was all my fault? Oh. Pretty sure the car is totalled. Wonderful. I'd better get used to my bike.
And to think getting in a car accident is one of my biggest fears, too. My son is sleeping in the living right now. We were lucky the traffic wasn't heavier-otherwise, we and the other car might have been hit again.
Oh no! I'm so glad you guys are okay. Hopefully now the cloud of bad luck is going to move on and leave you alone!
