I don't think my life is ever really normal...le' sigh to a self induced insanity of lots of kids, dogs and I am really not sure who is sleeping on my couch kinda life. ahhahah
But, tomorrow, everyone goes back to school. I will have a few hours just me. ME. all by myself...
Are you back to normal schedule yet after the holidays?

i thought i was but then after the kids went to school at 6:30 am i went back to bed and just woke up. (at 8:00am) i didn't sleep this late during their whole winter break? i guess waking up at 5:30 am yesterday and the back to running around for after school stuff tuckered me out?

Well, my kids went back Monday, so they're on a normal schedule, at least. I haven't had a normal schedule in years!

My kids went back yesterday (the youngest in tears) and I had to go back to work after a blissful 11 days off in a row. I stayed up a little later each night and sleep in a little later each morning. Yesterday morning was a little painful. :groan

There is no normal around here as my mum has changing shifts/days off each week. While I'm not working or studying there probably won't be a normal week til March depending on how things go. Currently "normal" for me will probably be next week - weekly activities start again, friends are available to meet etc.

We returned to "normal" Monday, with a bang. My daughter Caroline, who is in both our homeschool group's drama clubs, had an additional rehearsal scheduled for the Narnia production, which usually meets on Wednesdays. The other production is Charlie Brown, and my daughter Rhiannon is the student director. And the meetings yesterday overlapped. And I decided to do the grocery shopping I normally do Saturday (which I didn't do last Saturday because I spent the afternoon walking around D.C. with a friend instead). So I was driving back and forth across town quite a bit yesterday!

Normal?!? What is this "normal" you speak of?? :crazy3 There's no such thing in this household!! 5 kids, 3 dogs, a traveling hubby. it's enough to make this momma lose her mind! I wouldn't have it any other way!! Four of the kids returned to school on Monday. Hubby went back to work on Monday. Oldest child has orientation/training for a new job (through the temp agency) on Wednesday & Thursday and an interview for a *NEW* job on Friday. Thank my lucky stars I have TLP and Facebook to help me through it all!!

Kids went back to school yesterday which should have been my return to normal... but my husband worked from home yesterday and is again today. He's on calls most of the day, but having another person in the house messes up my normal. He flies out tonight though.

We are back to work, back to school, and all of our extra curricular activities are already starting back this week. It's almost like the last two weeks didn't happen. LOL

We had a...well lets call it a major bathroom malfunction in November/December and the work crews are still repairing. As far as the Nikolai goes - he started back to school today. So we are half normal. Is that a thing? Half normal?

We went back to work and school and sports practice yesterday. I am back to meal planning for the week, but have piles and piles of laundry to catch up on. I am just looking forward to not having all the "extras" to run to, especially in the MN cold.

My kids go back today. Normal schedule isn't fun. Constant racing between work and school and all the other stuff they do. I like not racing around. But, here goes. Wish me luck.

I am not sure if things are ever normal around here! We did send the kids off to school today so a more normal schedule has resumed.

We went back to routine yesterday. The kids back to school. I'm back at work (after taking a little over a week off!). Yesterday, we were running late. My oldest made it to school on time. My youngest did not because we were already a few mins later than usual. I blame it on vacation. We stayed up late alot of the nights. Practices start back up again but it's more involved because my DH is the coach for both my kids. Busy time!

Oh, I wish I had "normal!" I work full time and run a small business on the side, so the schedule is never normal. Throw Christmas into the mix, and it becomes barely managed chaos! My tree is still up and probably will be until after I get back home from the Craft and Hobby Association trade show, which is just another in a long string of "not normal" here. HAHA!! :) But we smile through it!

We don't have normal really. DH is a night nurse, so our schedule varies a lot. But, there is some routine I've got to start doing again! And I will. Maybe in Feb?

No! I don't think I will ever have a "normal" schedule or routine. Jasper is still the worst sleeper in the history of ever so that makes everything hard! I am grateful that we homeschool so we can work on a weird schedule when needed. G (hubby for those who don't know!) got sent home early because of no work which is a blessing and a curse. Messes with the schedule for sure!

We're pretty much back to normal, except my hubby is home sick from work yesterday and today (flu bug - I had it on the weekend).

Crystal - my dd is also a horrible sleeper. I feel like we'll never get a full night's sleep again lol
