New year Better year Already!!

I am so excited today because it has been amazing!! As many of you know 2015 was not a good year for us. OMG I cannot stress enough how bad it truly was. Thank goodness its OVER! This year is already turning out better for many reasons!

2015- Many of you know my husband was in a major car accident (Thank God he nor anyone else was hurt) but the damages were out there! And he was mostly at fault. Rear-ended someone. We were informed by our insurance company we would be sued because the damages were more then what our policy would cover. The accident included a vehicle going into two apartment buildings and totaling 2 vehicles.
2016- We were just told by our insurance that damages will not be as high as they original believed and on top of that the other driver who was driving the truck my husband hit was not supposed to be driving at all!! He was not covered under insurance and was not a approved driver on the vehicle he was piloting. He is actually in jail right now for another charge unrelated to the accident as well. Because of this the insurance says they will be putting fault at 60% my husbands because he rear-ended and 40% this drivers.Which means he will be responsible for a large portion of the damages as well. This willl lower the amount of damages we have to be covered on to under ten thousand and our policy will cover it all! Thank You!!!!!!

2015- My husband got laid off his job 1 week after the above accident. We lost all our insurance that day because they laid him off on the 30th and they pay insurance on that day so they did not pay his insurance.
2016- Started a new job and while its not as high of pay as the original job he had been at for 10 years it is a job and I am happy about it.

2015- Wyatt got braces started and because of the differences in insurance we had to chose one dental plan to pay for Wyatt's braces. Wyatt also has Medi-Cal because of his Growth Hormone disorder and Medi-cal would pay for them but only for 2 years. He needed four years of dental work because his teeth are so bad because of his disorder. So we decided to go with my husbands work insurance because they would continue to pay after the 2 years and we could just pay the difference. When Brad was laid off we lost our insurance. The dental office said Medi-cal will not pick up braces after another insurance has started payment on them. We thought we were going to have to start paying out of pocket for his braces which was going to cost us a fortune.
2016- I got a call yesterday from the orthodontic office and they said they sent a request to Medi-cal just to try to get them to pay and Medi-cal informed them they would pick up payment and pay for 3 years! 1 year over what they normally pay!! OMG!! I am so happy!!

2015- I have been trying to find a job I think I can do with my back injury for almost 2 years. I have not had much luck because so many jobs require you to lift heavy objects or sit or stand for long periods of time. I am not able to do those things. Also as soon as they hear i had a back injury they are no longer interested because they see me as a liability. Its been terrible.
2016- I applied for a job not only am I interested in but i think I will be able to do. I applied about a week ago and Wednesday i got an E-mail from the HR manager asking me to set up a telephone interview. I had my telephone interview today and I think it went Fantastic!! I mean FANTASTIC! They seemed very happy with my resume and I am very interested in the company and the job description is very interesting. I would be a district manager of marketing and sales for a widely known company in Medical equipment and sales. I would get to travel. I was told if I am offered the position I would spend the first 30 days in in depth training on ride a longs and after that i would spend 4 days in Chicago for more training! CHICAGO!! I have never been to Chicago! OMG!! I'm so excited! WISH ME LUCK PLEASE!!!

I know this is long but OMG I am so excited that this year is looking so much better then last year! At least I feel hopeful again! I was feeling so dejected and defeated. This is spectacular!!
