NBK Design March Challenge *CLOSED* WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Hello my fellow scrapbookers and welcome to NBK Design's March challenge. My name is Olga and I will be your host for this month.

This month we are going to focus on neutral colors. Most of Nicole's kits contain a variety of elements in hues of white and beige and she often jokes that she makes them specifically for me because I love them so much. It is true, I am not a big fan of bright and bold reds and blues, but the main reason why I favor netruals is because they go so well with my real-life photos that are rarely - if ever - in the colors that match the kits I want to use. I am not a great photographer, and neither are my family members, but the photos we take - those mismatched and wrong-angled and slightly out-of-focus ones - are precious beyond measure and deserve a place in our family albums.

So, the challenge is to use at least one daily life photo - no stock or scenic travel photos allowed - and scrap a page using mostly netural color palette. You may use other colors to add interest, but your page should be mostly in neutral hues.

If you are unsure what colors are considered neutral and this is what Google thinks:

Neutral colors typically include white, black, gray, beige, cream, brown, taupe, and various shades within those color families, essentially acting as muted, earth-toned colors that can easily be paired with other colors without clashing; they are often used as a base to allow other colors to stand out. Neutral colors often draw inspiration from natural elements like earth and stone

Here is a page I created using Nicole's AC83. This photo was taken by my son. We were in the kitchen and suggenly it started snowing, so we all grabbed our coats and ran outside - you can see we are wearing our comfy home clothes, lol.

CHALLENGE RULES:
1. Use at least one real-life photo capturing your day-to-day. No stock or scenic travel photos allowed. You may use a photo taken during your travels, but it can't be one of those gorgous vistas that are amazing to look at and easy to scap.
2. You must use predominantly neutral colors to create your page. You may use other colors to add interest, but the majority of your papers and elements must be in neutrals.
3. You may create your page in any style you want, and templates may be used.
4. If you use a template, it must be by NBK Design.

General rules:
- This challenge runs from March 1 to March 31, 2025
- TWO lucky scrappers will be randomly chosen to win an $8 coupon to the NBK-Design store.
- You must use 100% NBK-Design Products.
