My daughter's ice show solo program

She is very good. The dance was lovely. I liked the way the Shawl/scarf (not sure) gave her a butterfly appearance. Congratulations.
 
Wow! She did an amazing job! Gave me chills to watch! Congratulations to her for a solo part! I love her beautiful smile the whole time!

Oh, dear. I just had one graduate. It comes up so fast. You blink, and they're graduating! But enjoy the year and make sure to take photos!

Not to be Debbie Downer, but be saving up your money for all the costs, hidden fees, and activities for the senior year! I'm sure every school is different, but for us there was a $40 sitting fee for senior photos, then the basic package (1-8x10, 2-5x7, 4-3x5, 18 wallets) cost us $195! Yikers! And Herff Jones, the company that prints the grad announcements, charges a $15 convenience fee per order. It's insane! They know how to gouge you for sentimentality sake. But what was nice is they took photos of each graduate at the ceremony when they got their diploma. Hurray for that!

We decided we're going to get Travis a good photo shoot for his Eagle Court of Honor, and maybe an Eagle Scout ring. We actually laughed when we saw the prices of the class rings - hundreds of dollars for non-precious metals - something he really wouldn't wear a lot. But and Eagle ring? He'll definitely wear that!

I homeschooled both my kids so I made their announcements using CM's Storybook (it was a long time ago). I must have done a good job because my daughter has asked me to make her "Save the Date" cards!

Oh and not to mention the Senior "gold package" they sell you in August for all the senior activities and the all night "grad" party. Brennan graduated in 2015. Cha-Ching!
 
that was truly beautiful ...congrats to both of you ... to you, mama, for putting in the time and $ for the lessons (not easy!) and of course your talented daughter for all her dedication and hard work to be able to do that. wow!!! so very lovely!!! :beat
 
oh Jan, she was perfect. That was gorgeous. And she can work that scarf! I think the Olympics need to work in some scarfs - that was beautiful! I know I've heard you talk of her skating so much over here and MS that I'm so excited to have finally seen her skate!

(I secretly always wanted to do this - my sister got to but I didn't (she's 8 years younger)
