We had a great thread about what people were planning for Mother's Day. So, what actually went down?
We had planned on going for a hike at Thousand Islands National Park by Lake Ontario. But it was cold and rainy. I fell asleep at 11AM. Reportedly, I woke up at around 3pm. Walked to the kitchen in my underwear and ate a bowl of Cheesies. My 12 year-old asked me if she could make a cup of caffeinated tea, or if it was too late in the day. I kept saying, "Go to bed. Your going to be tired tomorrow." As she tried to explain to me that it was actually the middle of the afternoon. Eventually I wandered back to my bedroom, and woke up around 5pm with only a vague memory of that conversation.

So, we got take-out from a local sandwich place. Glamorous celebration here.
I didn't plan on pics, but I did get a fantastic selfie with my DS. I was outside weeding and he came over to chat. I asked "Can I get a pic of us?" and he actually sat and smiled a gorgeous smile! Normally he crosses his eyes or sticks out his tongue, or just doesn't even LOOK at the camera (er, phone, lol). Having a nice photo of him with me was a great surprise Mother's Day gift.
