Mornings |Pad Patter 1.12.17

I am much more of an early morning person than a late night girl! My alarm is set for 4:30 and I'm usually up sometime between then and 5:30. I get up, get a cup of coffee and settle in my comfy chair to read my Bible until around 6. At 6 I walk 3 miles on the treadmill (while watching Netflix) and then it's off to shower. My kids are usually all awake and moving by the time I'm out of the shower. We shoot to start school between 8 and 9. If I'm running behind, the kids usually get started on their assignments without me.

Now, I'm typically in bed around 9 at night and am more often than not unable to function properly if I'm up later than that.

I am NOT a morning person living a morning person's life. :giggle I have to leave the house at 6:30am to get to work early so that I can leave at 3:00 and pick up my boys from school. I LOVE that I have the flexibilty to do this, but it's painful for me to be up that early. I do get used to it, but I definitely sleep in until about 8:30 on the weekends. I really like to stay up late scrapping or crafting when it's quiet. :)

I'm definately a night owl but my morning routine is pretty basic. I wake up around 6:30 am go downstairs to use bathroom, pop the kettle on ready to make my morning coffee. Then I let my dogs out the back garden to do their business before giving my son a shout to get up around 7am.

Then its do hair, makeup and get dressed ready for work. My son is really good and will get up, make his own breakfast and get ready for school without me having to check on him. We both leave the house then around 7:45 to go catch the bus. I always leave for work early because the bus I catch is on same route as school bus, so if go later I can't get on the bus. But then extra hour in work gives me time to catch up on things from the day before.
