I know it's Tuesday but it sure feels like a Monday. Especially after having a Monday holiday and having my hubby and DD home on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well. At first it felt like Friday was Saturday because they were home from work and school and then DD was sick on Sunday so she didn't go to church and it felt like Saturday again. Boy, am I mixed up on my days!

Do holidays and days off from work or school mess you up too?

Totally, although I really thought today was Thursday.
So a total fail on my part.
Not working nor having school aged kids at home now, most days feel like Moosday.

My schedule didn’t change. I worked my usual Monday shift, 10-6, and today I’m taking my kids their Tuesday activities and usual.

Yes, it throws me off when holidays pop up, but since I've been using my Happy Planner for proactive planning, it really doesn't get to me like it used to.

Although I will say that it's super cold here (like 30's and with wind chill, felt like 18 this morning - for Florida, very cold), and my back is not liking it at all.

I feel like I made it to Tuesday like this:

Yes! I have Mondays off and use it as my catch-up day for errands, appointments, & scrapping so it always throws me off when my kids are home. Between Christmas Break, my kids being sick and missing school, and MLK Day, I haven't been home alone on a Monday in weeks and I'm really feelin' it!

I haven't been able to get back into our routine since Winter Break! First we were home 2 weeks. When school and work started up again, we missed a day and a half for weather that first week. Then I was sick and missed an entire weekend plus a day of work. Now this week the rest of the family had Monday off, but I had to go into work for a few hours. Next week we have a few teacher work days, so the kids and I will have another short week. By then we'll be at something like 6 weeks without a full, normal week. Not that I'm complaining about the time off, but I feel so thrown off! I can't get into a groove at work or at home right now.

I hadn't heard the term "Moosday" before - too funny! :giggle I don't feel like I have a solid normal schedule very often anymore, so I'm pretty much always trying to figure out what day it is. DH works from home sometimes, but not on a set specific schedule. DS doesn't have classes on Friday, and his work schedule is all over the place. School holidays are just one extra thing to throw in the mix, but since I'm already confused it doesn't make that much difference! :crazy:rofl

The kids were home on Monday, but I had to work like normal, so it didn't affect me too much this time. I love that term Moosday! :giggle I had 12 days off at Christmas this year and by the end of that I didn't know what day it was at all. Which I kind of loved. :agree I was hard to go back after that for sure though!

Well, my kids' school cancelled classes today due to the weather, so the weirdness continues. It's Wednesday, right? ;)

Yes, I am retired too but especially during MOC I always seem to know what day it is. But yesterday felt like Sunday to me...no idea why.

I have been repeating to myself "trash day" all day today, because I get so screwed up on weeks like this and always forget to take the trash out.
