The start of a new week....or maybe just another week closer to the end of the year.

Do you look forward to the start of a new week or dread Mondays?
What do you do to prepare for a new week?
Anything exciting or new happening this week? If so, what?

Depends....at the moment it's more of the same ol' thing so nothing to get too excited about

What do you do to prepare for a new week?
Nothing at the moment but when I'm in a routine, I tend to pre make a few breakfast/snack/lunch things on Sunday for me to take with me that are not only gluten free but help save me some $$$. I also check my calendar/email on a Sunday for any important dates for the upcoming week

Anything exciting or new happening this week? If so, what?
Two job applications due tomorrow plus another one due in the next week which is reasonably rare at this point in the year & a doctor's appointment on Friday (nothing serious, just a check up)

I actually don't mind Mondays. It's the one day of the week that I don't have to do much when I get home from work because I usually get the house clean and all the laundry done over the weekend...nothing has gotten too messed up yet lol.

This Monday is my birthday and it's a big one lol. Unfortunately, I'm spending it at the hospital with my mom. She was set to be released from rehab to go home but ended up back in the emergency room yesterday and now we are admitted again. Not quite sure what the rest of the week will hold.

I dread getting up early after sleeping in Sunday but other than that Mondays are good.

What do you do to prepare for a new week?
Check the calendar so I know what's coming up.

DD's end of year volleyball banquet is this week. I like that it'll be a mother daughter date since we're the only two going.

When I was a student and when I was working, I always had a knot in my stomach on Monday mornings. At secondary school, it even made me feel sick for most of the night.

What do you do to prepare for a new week?
I don't do anything anymore because I've noticed over time that it doesn't work. Going to bed early the night before, staying up late, moving around or staying on the sofa the night before doesn't change my mood at all.

The children's autumn holidays are over, so it's back to the weekly routine with sports. It'll do us good.

Well, drat on your Mom. Sorry to hear she's back in the hospital again. I'm so sorry. I hope that you're able to do something fun to celebrate your big birthday though, even if it's delayed a bit. Hope your mom is feeling better soon!

Do you look forward to the start of a new week or dread Mondays? I don't generally love Mondays because that means the weekend is over and I have to go back to work. I don't really dread them though since I do like my job. It's just more fun to have free time on the weekends. Lol.

What do you do to prepare for a new week? I don't really have to prepare for anything, just remember to turn my alarm clock back on.

Anything exciting or new happening this week? If so, what? Nothing really exciting this coming week except a craft class at church to make wreaths on Saturday. Otherwise, it's a pretty normal week.

Sorry to hear your mom had a set-back. Must be so stressful juggling work, family, home right now. Thinking of you.

Do you look forward to the start of a new week or dread Mondays? No, not really. I should be a retired person, that's all there is to it.
What do you do to prepare for a new week? I did tidy up my area a bit yesterday, and bought some groceries but not really much else.
Anything exciting or new happening this week? If so, what? I am getting my permanent replacement veneers on Thursday which will be awesome. The dentist crafted temporary acrylic ones, but they have been less than stable for almost two weeks, so will be glad to get rid of them. Friday is our regional development day. It's just a great excuse to get out of the office and see people from other branches and chit chat. I'm already looking forward to the weekend! Since I joined the GSO team, I now have at least twice a month to look forward to picking layouts to showcase and my next turn is Friday.

I hope you get lots of good news about your mom and can have a wonderful, albeit slightly delayed, birthday celebration soon.

Do you look forward to the start of a new week or dread Mondays? Time is somewhat meaningless here at the moment while we wait for things to get easier. I appreciate that we don't have any appointments on Mondays most weeks so we don't have to be go-go-go all the time.

What do you do to prepare for a new week? I decorate my planner over the weekend and fill in any appointments, tasks, etc. that I know I have and put lots of checklists for unexpected things.

Anything exciting or new happening this week? If so, what? My son's OT is opening her own gym so we get to start seeing her in a new facility now. It's bittersweet because she's been co-treating with his PT so things will be different now but I am so excited for her (and hopeful that he will love the new gym).

What do you do to prepare for a new week?

I'm going to a concert of Tom Odell this evening with my husband and youngest teenager. So excited to see and hear him play live

Happy birthday Jan! I hope it's a good one despite your mom's setback. Thinking of you!

I like Mondays, feels like a fresh start and since I'm at home I enjoy the quiet of the house while everyone else is off to school or work. It's my laundry day and that's one chore I don't mind doing.

What do you do to prepare for a new week?
Go over the calendar for the week

Anything exciting or new happening this week? If so, what?
My baby turns 13 on Wednesday  so no more kiddos around here, it's all teenagers & adults! Weird. I feel old.
It's state marching band this weekend so I'm headed 5 hours south on Thursday evening to see my daughter perform Friday & Saturday. We got a place to stay and my in-laws will be joining us so I'm looking forward to that.

Do you look forward to the start of a new week or dread Mondays?
I don't dread Mondays exactly but I'm also not a big fan as I am back to work on Mondays.

What do you do to prepare for a new week?
Not much. We do plan dinners for the week during the prior weekend but that's about it.

Anything exciting or new happening this week? If so, what?
Pretty routine around here but I am looking forward to the November BYOC drop!

I love mondays- mostly because the kids go to school & my hubby goes to work so I can get so much done- chores, etc. But I'll be starting a new job in January & I'll likely work monday mornings at least- so I guess I have to enjoy the last 2 month of mondays off I have left!

What do you do to prepare for a new week?
Mondays to me means laundry- I do A LOT of laundry on mondays- all the sheets from all the beds & then the usual clothes. I like to get as many chores done on mondays, so my days off work later in the week means I can do fun stuff instead!

Anything exciting or new happening this week? If so, what?
This morning (monday) I shadowed for the morning clinic- the job I'll have in January. I'm now going to be working in my dental office on Tuesdays, then at the local university dental hygiene clinic as a clinic instructor 1-2 days a week. Possibly more work than my current 2 days in office, but definitely easier on my back & shoulder.

Now I just have to get all my paperwork and all the stuff done for working at the university (SO many forms & things to get signed up for!)

I love marching band and miss getting to go experience all the pageantry. Best of luck to your daughter's school!
