Modifying Word Art

How would you approach it?

I have a word art that I’d like to use but needs serious modification for it to work. I bought a very themed kit which 95% of it is easily modifiable from elsewhere (I know I’m bad but at 50% off it was a great deal). The current word art has three letters - ASL (American Sign Language) but I’ll be using it in the context of NZSL so would need to drop the A at least. The alpha that is part of the kit is not the same font and only using the SL part doesn’t work as it’s referred to as NZSL here so I’m not sure my best option....I’m perfectly ok with not using the word art piece but would at least like to explore all options first.
 
I can imagine if you contact the designer he would do for you the WordArt

Or can you just re-create the whole word art yourself with a similar font?

Please post the kit so we can see what it looks like and we may be able to help you. There are lots of tricks you can use to modify it.

I’m thinking that may be the way I go in the end. I always knew that the particular word art would give me grief but all the others I can work with.

Not possible as it’s not one I’ve bought here so don’t want to get in trouble....this post was more to get ideas
 
For anyone wondering this is the resulting layout of me asking this question - I didn't end up using the word art in question but I did cut two different word arts to create the title
