Have you been playing along with the MOC challenges? Have any got you stumped? Are you caught up? I've got the first 5 done. I struggled with the 10 frames challenge but liked my page in the end. I really should spend today on some work and house chores, but I want more challenges to work on instead, LOL! (Work will win out, unfortunately. Regardless of how I want to spend my day, tomorrow will be a disaster if I don't finish lesson planning and prepping for my class.) Tomorrow is the end of Winter Break, so after this it will get a lot more challenging to stay on top of MOC. I'm determined to do it!
I've done all 5 so far too. Also been doing some of the designer challenges. So if you are still looking for more scrapping today @rach3975 you can find them here. Note the 36 days one is a speedscrap - deadline for that one is 7am Monday morning. Pink Reptile Designs by 15th, and the rest that are there so far are currently running through to the 31st.
Pretty badly with no excuses. 2 out of 5 completed. Half done #5 - such a fun technique challenge - learning a lot.
I'm 5 for 5 thanks to @tinkerbell1112 who figured out and shared the grid photo technique for Artisan software users.
I have done three so far. I will get #4 and #5 done today. I had trouble with the 10 frame one -- getting it small enough to add to gallery. I did two different save as web actions and it still wasn't small enough. I finally saved as a GIF instead of a JPG and that worked. So if you're having trouble with the web size, try saving as a GIF. It was weird. It's happened to me before during MOC so hopefully it won't happen again.
I thought the ten frames one was tough, but then I nailed it and really loved the layout. Would have to say that today's challenge was the hardest and took the most time. I had to start again and used the PSE work arounds and called it done. 5/5 for me too.
I have finished the first 5 and I think the one that I struggled with the most was the List as I am not really a lists person so my mind was blank at first but not for long. I was not sure how my 10 frames ones would turn out as I have never used that many frames on a page before as I rarely use any frames. I have even had time to take part in two designer challenges.
So far I've been doing my pages every morning first thing. And I've even had work shifts the last 3 days! I'm having trouble deciding which of my pages I like the most so far, but I think I had the most fun working on my Favorites List. The hardest challenge has been the grid challenge, but I also loved it and really want to do it again.
5 for 5...but I had Wed, Thurs & Fri off from work. Back to reality tomorrow so who knows how I'll look this time NEXT week! LOL. My mornings have been spent sleeping in until 7 then doing my challenge page until done. Tomorrow I wake up at 5:20 and hit the ground running. LOL
I'm caught up with Day 5. I would say that was the most time consuming for me. Now I'm back to finishing up the last few pages I need to do for Document Your December...
I'm two challenges behind (frames and grid). I don't have any free time during the day, and I can't wait for school to start... I know I can catch up easily then. My greatest struggle is deciding what kits to use. I know I have hundreds of frames, but I keep searching the store instead of my stash. Is it bad?
I am managing to keep up so far despite being on vacation (summer holidays, as we say here). Heart dropped when I saw a technique challenge because I am on a laptop with a trackpad as my mouse has given up. But I just started playing and it was fun
I have done 1! Lol. School starts again tomorrow for me, so I've been avoiding the computer all weekend. I know, counterintuitive to scrapping! I'll sit down tonight and do one or two so I'm not Uber far behind.
No, I'm on PSCC on Windows. It was strange. It was MOC 3 with all the frames. My original JPG in the normal size was over 8MB though. That's the largest one this week. Then when I did the action to make it smaller, it went down to 3MB. It was just a huge layout I guess. Fortunately, GIF is accepted and I could save as that.
On target so far. Just posted #5 -- the grid which was certainly the most challenging one for me and my least favorite as I'm not sure I will ever use the technique again. But I did discover some things about PS that I had never explored.
Same here. Using PSE made it so. My PS student acct expired so PSE it was! Plus I got disturbing news just prior to beginning the page that made it hard to be creative. Not loving the page, but sometimes documenting is more important than artistry.
So far I’m 5 for 5, but tomorrow is back to work. It’s going to get more challenging to fit in scrapping time, but I always love the challenge.
