    As we count down to the start of our 12th Month of Challenges, we wanted to provide a sneak peek at our philosophy for this year's event. Last year, we invited you all "home," to return to your storytelling and memory keeping roots. Our theme for 2024 is "Connections" - reflecting on all of the physical and emotional connections we have in our daily lives. Connections with family, friends, beliefs, influences, commonalities; they shape us in ways we may not even be aware of. Again, we hope that this year's event inspires you to think about your connections with scrapbooking and storytelling, and how this hobby helps build connections within your family and within our scrap community.

    As always, there will be 31 challenges, a new one every day in the month of January. Our challenges for 2024 will be similar to last year in that the Pollys have created more personal prompts, allowing you to scrap what's in your heart with a focus on what is meaningful and impactful to you. The challenges are again less formulaic and more organic. We want the challenges to inspire you to connect to art and story. You will still be challenged and you will still learn something new, while creating your pages in your own style and inspiration.

    Our prize packages will be similar to last year; every challenge will have an individual winner, and we will award tiered prize packages to a subset of participants, selected from those who have completed all 31 challenges. We will not be awarding gift certificates to every finisher as we did for the first years of MOC. All prizes will be distributed randomly, not by vote or favorites or anything value-based.

    We are excited to bring you another year of MOC, and hope it helps you all to connect to this hobby, to this community, and to your inner storyteller.

    I am so excited! Last year was my first time successfully completing MOC and that was an even better feeling than winning anything (although I did win one of the daily prizes, which was nice too).

    I am so excited!!!! This really is my scrapping highlight of the year! I feel so energized and excited during January! Are you still going to have guest CT spots and Polly's as prizes this year?

    I am getting a new laptop and I can't wait to scrap on a state of the art FAST computer!! My iMac is almost 10 years old and Photoshop is running a bit slow on it. Hopefully I'll have the laptop this week and I won't have any hiccups switching my files over!
