Do you drink milk? Yes, I drink it every day
Cow? Oat? Almond? Something else? Cow's milk, usually 2% but sometimes whole. I also have half-and-half in my coffee
Plain or flavored? Plain, and very cold

Plain or flavored? Plain milk (non fat or low fat depending on availability). Vanilla almond milk (but only the ones without any binders)
 
I have never been a milk fan - I think it tastes pretty disgusting, plus just the thought of it. I have distinct memories of sitting in the elementary school cafeteria and the teachers going around picking up our milk cartons, forcing us to drink it till it was gone. That was traumatic. Ew. I buy various plant milks that I use for cooking and in my coffee, but I don't like to drink it straight. Oat, almond, macademia, etc. I got a cookbook for Christmas called the Vegan Creamery, and she has a bunch of recipes for different plant milks in it. I'm planning to learn to make my own this year because I'm sure it will save a lot of money!

Vegan Creamery is by Miyoko Schinner right? I'm so sad her cashew butter is no longer available. It was my butter of choice. I know she has given us the recipe in a video but I don't know if I have the energy and time for making it myself. I'd love to hear about your experience with the cookbook.

Yes, Miyoko Schinner! I'd call her book pretty hard core. I just got it for Christmas, and I haven't made anything yet. Most of the things I want to make are cheeses, and I had to order some vegan cultures for them. I hear you on her butter!! I haven't made her butter yet either - it doesn't look hard, but it's still effort lol. I stopped buying all the Miyoko's Creamery products because they aren't actually hers anymore - if you haven't heard that story, basically she got voted out as CEO of her own company. It recently went up for sale and she put an offer on it, but it went to someone else. It's craziness that she got booted from her own company. Anyway, I'll try to remember to let you know once I actually make something from the book!
