Milk or Dark or Inbetween |Pad Patter 11.2

I love chocolate, though my teeth do NOT. I'm not a huge fan of dark chocolate, but there are some I don't mind. One of my all time favourite chocolates is Cadbury Top Deck. Milk on the bottom white on the top. YUM!

When I was little, I was allergic to chocolate, so it was only white chocolate for me. But now I can eat it all. Bwahahaha. I buy white chocolate for my dog as a treat on occasion. He's allergic to most dog treats, but he loves white chocolate, so it is a once-in-a-blue moon treat. I also like white chocolate at Christmas time as peppermint bark. And those Dove chocolates with the peppermint bark and dark chocolate on the very bottom... drool.

Right now, I'm on a mini Reese's kick, so that is milk chocolate.

My daughter is a baker, and we took a chocolate class together, so I got used to the dark chocolate, but I don't eat it all that often.

I love milk chocolate! I've tried to like dark chocolate because it's *suppsosed* to be better for you, but it's just tastes ick to me.

i'm a dark chocolate girl!
white chocolate turns my stomach ... i had a binge on a white chocolate bunny when i was a wee little girl and it was not pretty. i can't stand the stuff after that experience.
what she said (minus the unfortunate bunny incident)

I need that. Right now. I wonder if Amazon has it?

Dark and dark - about 70% to 80% is good. I tried 90% once and that is a bit too dark.

@littlekiwi - Can you eat dark chocolate? It has so little milk in it, maybe just a trace.

And I had to go get some chocolate due to this tread. Yummm! Dark with a touch of sea salt.

@BevG, I could but i just am not enough of a chocolate fan to have it. I can make a small bar of chocolate last a week.

I love dark chocolate...I actually love the 90% stuff. I can hardly stand the milk chocolate stuff.

My fave used to be those white chocolate hershey bars with the little chocolate cookie pieces in them. Now it's way too much sugar for me, but those were my fave.

I like milk chocolate, preferable with other stuff with it.

I also like spicy chocolate, lol!

I was ALWAYS a milk chocolate girl, but I am starting to put my big girl pants on and have been enjoying some dark chocolate now and then! Most halloween candy is regular chocolate - hardly ever see dark chocolate handed out.

I frequently switch back and forth with milk and dark. Same with brands/type of candy. It really depends on my mood. I don't like it too dark though. I can't stand white chocolate. For some reason, every time I've ever eaten white chocolate, it's made me sick. Has anyone else experienced that?

Love Dove's milk chocolate. Also like semi sweet chocolate. Especially the nonpareils. Also like the Hershey's dark chocolate mini bars. White chocolate is too sweet and I don't care for it. But we just found a new white chocolate bar with nuts all thru it at the Crackerbarrel. And it's yummy. Expensive at $5 a bar. But totally yummy. I think it's because of so many little pieces of nuts in it. Helps to take away the sweetness.

I like them all! Dark chocolate bars with fruit in them are so decadent, love them. The Halloween candy I couldn't resist this year were the Reese's white chocolate pumpkins, seriously I'm addicted. I threw them in the back of the freezer so I couldn't reach them. I'm not a huge fan of semisweet chocolate chips, but my kids love them so I use them in baking. It's funny though, cuz I am in no way a chocoholic. My vice is gummies, ooh & chocolate covered gummy bears are pretty awesome too!

Actually I was kind of bummed yesterday when I went to Costco. I was looking for their Chocolate covered salted caramels and they only had dark chocolate. I definitely am a milk chocolate girl. I'm just going to have to suffer though them.

Milk chocolate first, coul d eat mounds of it. Small amounts of dark chocolate are yummy esp with other flavours (cherry ripes, mmm,, could kill for one now!) but white chocolate does nothing for me. Way too sweet and not chocolatey.
Was out walking a couple of weeks ago, it was cold so I ordered a hot chocolate, they only had a white hot chocolate - thought I would give it a go - just no.. sadly for me, it was undrinkable.

I grew up on white chocolate and loved it. Not sure why I got that at Easter etc ....was I a slob as a child? Not that I ever heard of but I didn't have brown chocolate til about 10 or so. I'm strictly a milk chocolate person and really only want Trader Jo's Belgian 1lb Milk Chocolate bar. Best buy in the world imho. Once in a while I get their dark chocolate for dh or just to have and I can really make that last a long time. Not ideal for me on its own but with a couple pieces of tangerine. Yum!

eta: Suddenly remembered our Christmas special. The mixed bag of Lindt chocolate balls. DH gets the mint ones as i despise peppermint. Mint is for iced tea. Period!
