My 5 cents worth(cos what can 2 cents get you these days?): **Somewhere along the line someone told us that our work was not "right" and that meant to us that we were not good enough. We humans avoid what we are not good at. My high school Art teacher HATED my work and nearly said that verbally. Always put it to the back of class displays.OK------why am I afraid to tackle this????? Even went on YouTube and watched some Continuous Line Drawing video How-To's! Encouragement, please!!!!!!!
My college prof was different- thank God for her! Art is subjective, thereby not right or wrong. It is self expression and we ALL can do that and should applaud that. **OK------why am I afraid to tackle this????? Even went on YouTube and watched some Continuous Line Drawing video How-To's! Encouragement, please!!!!!!!
wow!! THIS IS AMAZING. Thank you for playing along with me.Amazingly, I've only seen this today. Where have I been? However, I used to follow a blog - Mary Ann Moss
and she and her sister do drawings like this without looking at them! I must say I found a lot of them darn right ugly (judgement, judgement...) but this was fun. The hardest part was finding a pencil! I've given almost all of mine away to the Boys and Girls club since...who uses pencils any more?
I think because I scanned it at 600dpi the computer ate the first try so I scanned it again and it cut off my name. Maybe that's a wise thing...LOL

where is yours@NancyP Have you looked at mine yet? That should be reason enough to be encouraged.I went with the approach that a one-line drawing isn't meant to be perfect. I actually laughed out loud at some of mine. Remember to have fun with this exercise.
? did I miss it?Wait. I will have to open my PS. LOL!!That example is fabulous. I have no idea how to color my drawing (digitally). Well, some idea, maybe, but no skill.
I used the Paint Bucket Tool , pick a colour and drop in the colours into each section of the drawing.OK, before I read part 2, I'm uploading my practice. I thought it would get better. Mostly I was working from photographs, and none of these resemble the original in the least. Shortly I'll find out if any are useable.

I love wacom... it really doesn't have to be perfect.. LOL!!I do not do well with faces, so I left hers empty. I also did it with my wacom, not a drawing pad for scanning issues. This was a lot harder then I expected lol but fun! moving on to step two shortly![]()
trust me!! YOU WILL GET BETTER AT THIS!!tada!!! * i will get better, I will get better, I WILL get better *
