Greetings, March Challengers! I'm here with the "dreaded" journaling challenge Journaling challenges tend to conjure up images of long stories that take up a large chunk of your scrap page. And sometimes, they do. But I'm also a firm believer that if you try, you can convey a lot of information and emotion into a small amount of words. So that's your challenge this month: say what you need to say about your page in 25 words or less. Figure out how to tell your story with just a few, but important and strong words. Here's my page, with 24 words of journaling (not including the word art): Don't forget: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the March Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). I can't wait to see how you tell your stories in a brief but meaningful way!
Less words....what’s that foreign concept? Better get on to it before I start writing my 1200+ word assignments again.
Can the Journaling be 25 words, but there be a short title? I assumed it was ok based on your word strips, as mine is from the kit too 25 words in my journaling and it was quite a challenge. hahah
@mrs2a50 I know I already asked in the gallery, but just in case you don't see it. What font did you used for your journaling?
