I have a couple of cards I wanted to show you from my August Make It Monday blog posts.

For the first one, I wanted to practice my ink smooshing technique and came up with this one:


I needed more ink and should have used watercolor paper I think, but it's not terrible for my first attempt hehe!

And then for the second, I wanted to try this technique that uses Press N Seal, and I loved the way it turned out. Here's my card for my daughter and the instructions are found on our Make It Monday blog post.

I'm hoping she likes it!



If y'all ever done this Press N Seal technique, can you share your card so I can get more ideas? I got this one off of Youtube and basically copied it so I'd love to see more examples!

I love technical terms like smooshing. Hee hee! That's bird with a birthday hat is so adorable! Love the fun bold blue on that one! Also love that 2nd card and all the pretty flowers! Off to check out your blog post to see what the press and seal technique is. That's a new one to me!
 
i love that comment in the bird/smoosh card post about getting to appreciate and wearing your ink colour on your fingers for the rest of the day - so true!
And the way the rectangle die gives you 2 cards really is so cool! thanks for sharing your card ideas!!
