Now I'm the proud owner of a Silhouette Portrait!:beat
For me the 8x12 cutting size is o.k. because I want to use it for print and cut and my printer is also for that size.
My first trials were terrible, everything stuck on the mat and was torn when I tried to get it off. It's difficult to find out how everything works...(still have problems...) I wanted to give the machine back and was so sad...
My mat now looks as it is years old, but now it works...:giggle

So here is my first ever hybrid project, I used a cutting file from the Silhouette shop and papers from Fairytale by One Little Bird and Paislee Press:

The mats are really tricky at first. I'm glad you kept trying because this is just gorgeous, Susanne!!

Yes, congrats! I love my Silhouette SD!

I hate the cutting mat when it's brand-new because it's too sticky. But once you've used it a few times it gets better.

It really makes fun to do hybrid!
I want to try a lot, but it takes a lot of time...And I have so many problems with the program, there are so many things I don't know...I think I have to start learning...It's a bit hard because all is in English.

Looks great! A couple of my friends have one and I'm trying to stay away from the temptation. Fingers in my ears, covering my eyes, backing away....
