I am so excited to be highlighting Lynn Grieveson today! I absolutely adore her beautiful style! Her kits are always so full of gorgeous artistic papers and amazing elements. They are all incredibly versatile and can be used for many different projects. I am also a huge fan of her photo book templates and, if you have not seen her fabulous pages they are a treat! I absolutely adore all of her travel pages!

Even more exciting is that she is now a part of the amazing group of designers who create our Mixed Media Monthly. You can find her designs as part of the February M3.

I asked Lynn a few questions for today:

1. Tell us a little about yourself and how you got started designing​

I live in Wellington, the capital of New Zealand where I juggle designing with working as photojournalist and sub-editor in the press gallery at Parliament. Originally I worked with words, as a journalist and newsletter writer, but after my second daughter was born (quite a long time after my first!) I started scrapbooking. We were living in Singapore at the time, and moved back to New Zealand not long afterwards. I loved digital scrapbooking and discovering what was possible in photoshop, and I was on the creative team at Designer Digitals for a while, but quite soon started playing with creating my own designs. I've been a designer since 2008, and moved to The Lilypad in January 2016.

2. How do you come up with ideas for your designs?​

It has always been what I want to scrap with myself with my own photos. I love working on designs for the BYOC and Mixed Media Monthly because the colours chosen nearly always make a great springboard.

3. Do you have a favorite kit that you've designed?​

That's a hard one! Usually it's the most recent one - and right now that would be the "Be Kind" kit! But longtime favourites are "Turning it Around" and "Oh My Deer". And my favourite template album has to be the "Messy Pockets: Noted" bundle (though I love the "Oh My Deer" bundle too!)

4. I know you are also a fabulous scrapper. Do you have a favorite layout?​

Another hard one to answer! And also, for complicated reasons, it's hard right now for me to look back at old photos and layouts. But a couple that I always loved are:
