Lightroom

Radlab users, which one? There seem to be several. This might make my Christmas list this year.

There is only one RadLab (the other things they have is PS actions). They have a full version 1-month trial too so you should definitely check it out beforehand, and keep an eye out for Black Friday sale - I took advantage of it last year.

Warning on the 30 day trial, make sure you're going to have $ set aside at the end of the 30 days, because you won't be able to live without it.

I hear they have a nice Black Friday sale, so if you try it now and like it then you can keep an eye out for that. :)

I love LR. I started using it when I got my Creative Cloud subscription. (Which is the best $30 a month I have ever spent. Seriously.) I'm afraid to check out Rad Lab because I don't have the money to set aside!

I've been thinking about this as well -- seems like everyone loves Lightroom! I've never used it. I use Photoshop with the Nik Software plug-in suite. I mostly use ColorEfex Pro and Viveza, and I LOVE them. I think it is similar to RadLab, in that it is a plugin interface and then you apply the filters. You can use the preset filters, customize them, use multiple filters, etc, and it has U Point technology that allows you to selectively apply (or remove) the filters to specific areas of the photo. Very powerful and easy to use, but they are a bit spendy. I believe that you can also purchase Nik Software plugins for Lightroom as well.

I bought LR3 when it was on serious sale (when LR4 was released, LOL), but I still haven't used it. UGH. Use PSE and Radlab now. Bought Radlab when it was on sale and seriously use it for just about every photo. Lazy? sure. Good result? usually :). hehe

I use my hard drive to organize. Need to try out LR, esp after reading through this thread.
