Question for everyone: Do you prefer Lightroom or Photoshop to edit your photos...and why?

I've saved a little money and have thought about buying Lightroom but not 100% sold on needing another program. Lead me in the right directions ladies! :thumbsups Oh, and i already own Photoshop if you were wondering.

I prefer Lightroom, I like that I can organize and edit in one place. But I've become a RadLab convert, so I use that more than anything now. So technically that's Photoshop, but it's really simple automatic Photoshop!

Sadly I have LR and still have yet to use it... I would actually need photos first, though...

I big fat puffy heart lightroom. I have so much to learn about it but from an editing standpoint, it is a HUGE time saver. :)

I have rarely edited any photos in Photoshop in almost 3 years since I've gotten Lightroom. Lightroom all the way for me.
I created a sharpen and exposure preset that I automatically apply upon importing of photos. I hardly ever need to do anything else with EACH and EVERY one of my photos unless I'm actually scrapbooking with them. I apply more presets as needed and adjust them. SO EASY! And when I go through each photo it's so easy to put them into my Collections for the different things I do with my photos. I have collections for blogging, for Project Life, for scrapbooking, and for Month In Review. You can send the photos directly from LR into Flickr as well.

Let me say this again: my entire photo-managing life and scrapbooking life has changed as a result of Lightroom. I probably wouldn't be blogging or scrapbooking as much if I didn't have Lightroom.

When I have to edit many pictures than with Lightroom it's more comfortable and is faster!
*and I love Presets*

I really couldn't do without either of them for my photo editing. They both serve different purposes for me and I love them both equally!

I miss my lightroom! It makes editing so easy with presets. I still can't find my disk so that I can put it on my new computer!

I got Lightroom but have not used it yet. I need to find some time to figure out how it works....

Radlab users, which one? There seem to be several. This might make my Christmas list this year.

I use both. I find that I use LR presets and PS actions similarly to give photos an specific look (washed out/vintage/colorised etc). RadLab is SO tempting, but I haven't succumbed yet. I use LR in preference if I want to adjust exposure or get the color balance right, especially if the original photo is way off (which mine often are!). I prefer noiseware for noise removal above LR or PS.
