I'm borrowing Courtney's Fast 5 format idea for today. And seeing I was gif hunting I'll answer with a few gifs myself but you absolutely don't have to - text is perfectly fine!

1. Is there any seasonal chocolate or chocolatey treats you look forward to around December (Christmas / Hanukkah etc)?
2. If someone were to buy you a box of chocolates, do you have a favourite brand or is it all good?
3. Do you study the chart on the back to make a selection or do you 'lucky dip' (just pick one at random)?
4. If you lucky dip, do you commit and eat what you picked or do you do like my son and lucky dip until you get what you want?
5. Is there any chocolate you don't like?

Bonus question (I love when Courtney throws them in hehehe) - DO you agree with Forrest ? Is life like a box of chocolates or would you finish the sentence another way - "Life's like a ..."?

As much as i want to believe this

I only have a few ( times a couple!) of these that either we or DH's aunt make each year
mini-christmas-puddings.jpg

(traditional English fruit pudding dipped in chocolate with white icing and cut up glace cherries as decoration)

(it's all good unless no.5)

3. Do you study the chart on the back to make a selection or do you 'lucky dip' (just pick one at random)?

(i study the back and then lucky dip then study the back again to figure out what i got because I've forgotten already what was what, but i'll generally eat it again anyway - if that's strange or crazy, i don't care)

Yes! Peppermint Bark!
shopping

Not so much a fan of the boxes, because too much goes to waste that I don't like. Buy me a bag of Riesen!

I study, because many I just cannot do...

If by chance I ever lucky dip and get a yucky one I do not commit...straight in the trash it goes lol

5. Is there any chocolate you don't like?
I very much dislike white chocolate!! (unless it is on peppermint bark)

For me, life tends to be more like a roller coaster...hang on, it's a wild ride! But one of my favs is:

Being on a gluten free diet, boxes of chocolates are difficult. We have to inspect all the labels carefully, and most contain or may contain traces of gluten. I like chocolate coated nuts when I have the option. We are part of the Nestle boycott, so nothing from them please.

1. Is there any seasonal chocolate or chocolatey treats you look forward to around December (Christmas / Hanukkah etc)?
Yes I loooove myself some After Eight chocolate Santa. Haven't found one this year yet, but I keep my hope up.

2. If someone were to buy you a box of chocolates, do you have a favourite brand or is it all good?
I like 'zeebanket' which are super cheap so that's good. Or the expensive box of cream filled bonbons.

3. Do you study the chart on the back to make a selection or do you 'lucky dip' (just pick one at random)?
That depends on the mood and type of box. If I like all: then no. But if that's not the case: then yes.

4. If you lucky dip, do you commit and eat what you picked or do you do like my son and lucky dip until you get what you want?
Well, the whole box is mine, isn't it? So I just keep eating. :)

5. Is there any chocolate you don't like?
I'm not a fan of Côte D'Or. But in case of nothing better, I'll eat anything!

1. Is there any seasonal chocolate or chocolatey treats you look forward to around December (Christmas / Hanukkah etc)? I love the little Dove bells, especially in dark chocolate and the Lindt balls, and ... really any of the Christmas candy (yes, it is very similar to Halloween candy but somehow it tastes better!)

2. If someone were to buy you a box of chocolates, do you have a favourite brand or is it all good?
Dark chocolate please.

3. Do you study the chart on the back to make a selection or do you 'lucky dip' (just pick one at random)?
Well, if it is one of those assorted chocolate box (and really I am not a fan), then yes - because I don't like coconut or raisins or cherries or raspberries messing up my chocolate.

4. If you lucky dip, do you commit and eat what you picked or do you do like my son and lucky dip until you get what you want? Ah no - time to spit it out.

5. Is there any chocolate you don't like? Cheap chocolate!!! Especially the white kind, which isn't chocolate at all.

@berniek - I have had those shell chocolates and while they may have some white chocolate mixed in there, they are divine!! Yum Yum! You can mail me a box...:byay

1. Is there any seasonal chocolate or chocolatey treats you look forward to around December (Christmas / Hanukkah etc)? We used to always make homemade "girl scout cookies" like the thin mints and I LOVE those things!

2. If someone were to buy you a box of chocolates, do you have a favourite brand or is it all good? I don't really have a favorite brand for boxed chocolates... but I'm going to echo Jan on the Reisen... love those things!

3. Do you study the chart on the back to make a selection or do you 'lucky dip' (just pick one at random)? Well I really only like the caramel ones and those are always square, so I go straight for those. If I get an imposter nougat, it goes in the trash. :giggle

4. If you lucky dip, do you commit and eat what you picked or do you do like my son and lucky dip until you get what you want? See above.

5. Is there any chocolate you don't like? Not really... as long as it's actually chocolate and not the wax weird substance that is cheap chocolate
