My recipe binder is done! Want to learn more about how you can create a recipe binder to house all your recipes? Hop on over to TLP Blog and see how its done. And of course, comment below or on the blog with any good recipes you have. I may want to add more recipes to my pretty binder
Oh recipe. We are having this tonight for dinner: Allergy friendly waffles (having a food allergy kid takes "normal" waffles from us ) 3 cups of old fashioned oats (gluten free if necessary) 2.5 cups water 1 banana (ripe works best) Blend all ingredients, pour into waffle maker. we typically let them cook a minute or so longer than the indicator light, but that's preference. This recipe makes about 3 waffles, so we double the recipe for our family of four. The extras either get eaten if we're hungry, or frozen (2 per gallon size freezer bag with freezer paper between). To reheat, we microwave for 20 seconds or so, then use the toaster. Also, we serve these with peanut butter for those of us able to have peanut butter, and almond butter for my allergy kid. Syrup. We do "Brinner" (breakfast for dinner) semi-often. At least once a month, sometimes two or three. Goes really well with bacon/sausage too! Feel free to add fruit in if you want... (more fruit) ETA: this came from "cooking with plants" video that my mom sent me on pinterest!
HOE do I keep missing these posts? That is sooo cute, I just love everything about it, Jewelle! I have so many family recipes I need to get under control, this may be what works for me so that ALL our kids can have a copy.
