Last Movie???

I went and saw Mortal instruments City of Bones at the movies this week :D ... lots of fun!

We had a date night last week and watched The Butler. It was excellent, but I was such a mess from crying when I left the theater! I haven't cried so much in the theater since we watched My Sister's Keeper.

Hey! I watched that on me own when it was 1st released here. A few weeks ago, ie. And I love it !! Cos it's so like the book.

For home movies via the cable channel... The 5-Year Engagement ... twice ... not bad. I like Emily Blunt.

we go to the movies every friday night :) we saw Rush this last weekend - and loved it!

The last movie I saw in the theatre was "The Butler" and that was ok.. I was disappointed to find out they changed a lot of the real info for the screen and some of the actors for the characters they were playing were badly matched up. Oprah was good as was Forrest Whitaker.

Re Movies on Cable, well we watch them all the time and it all just meshes.. I want to look on "On Demand" and watch the OZ movie.. I have been wanting to see that... Oh I know what I last watched as a movie was "Hitchcock" with Anthony Hopkins that was Wednesday!! It was excellent!

I want to go to the movies this week (Friday maybe if it is at our Cinema Café) to see Gravity with Sandra Bullock & George Clooney and next week to see the movie with Tom Hanks "Captain Phillips" as it was filmed right here where I live in VA Beach/Norfolk area.

I rarely get to see movies in the theater these days, but the last one we saw was just this past weekend- The Spectacular Now. I actually really liked it, and now I want to read the book to get more character insight. I hope the book is better than the movie, which is usually the case. Although, the last time I saw a movie and then read the book (the silver linings play book), I was sorely disappointed. They did a way better job with the movie than the book. Not sure who ever thought to make the book into a movie, but they definitely improved upon it.

We just watched World War Z this weekend and YIKES was that tense and scary! I was stressed out the whole time watching it and had my blanket clutched to my chin most of the time too! LOL! It was good, but scary! Zombies should not be able to move that fast! Then I couldn't get over the fact that it was rated PG-13! No way would I let my kids watch that movie!

So since I posted my response right after you asked this question we've been on a movie watching frenzy (lol at least for us)

We've watched in the past 2 weeks:

The Princess Bride (x2)
The Last Starfighter
Batman Begins
The Muppets
The Sixth Man (only because DH was an extra in it and he wanted to show DD - and it was free on demand..lol)

I finally saw This is the End this week. It was hilarious...lol. I haven't laughed that much in a long time. If you don't like comedies like SuperBad, Knocked Up, or Pineapple Express then this might not be for you. :)

Karen, I haven't seen that one yet. Might have to check that one out.

Sarah, those are some good movies. I have always loved the Princess Bride. :)
