What is the last movie you watched??? It can be one you watched at home or in the theater....

Last night my hubby and I watched The Place Beyond The Pines with Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes, Bradley Cooper, and Ray Liotta. It is 2 hours and 21 minute long. I always worry when a movie is that long that at some point in the movie it is going to start to drag or just get boring, but this movie was good the whole time. I really liked the characters and I loved the story. It was a drama so there was no laughing, but it was just a good movie with great actors.

ummm.... ummm.... I saw Epic in the theaters w/ the kidlets. And actually enjoyed it, LOL. It doesn't take much :giggle

We watched Oz the Great and Powerful a couple of weeks back. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would.

We watched Now You See Me. It was good. Not great, IMO, but then again, it's not really my type of movie (DH picked it). Last movie that I actually was wowed by was Django Unchained.

Jen, I am easily amused as well!!! :giggle

Sarah, I actually liked Oz the Great and Powerful more than I thought I would, too. I was nervous about watching it because it had gotten so much hype. I do love James Franco, though.

Ama, I LOVED Django Unchained. That was such a good movie!!

Karen, you made me giggle. I am a movie lover. I watch movies all the time. My hubby loves movies, too. That is how we spend a lot of our quality time together because we stay so busy. We don't get a lot of alone time.

The last movie I saw was a Netflix DVD - The Big Wedding. It was kind of funny. The last thing I saw at the theater was At World's End.

LOVE him, and so wamt to watch the movie!!!!

not sure about this one...I used to love Tarantino, now I am old officially and have lots of problems so I only want to watch sci fi (the happy kind when possible) and comedies....
We watched this past few days:
Iron Man 3 -loved ot
The 5 year engagement -meh...could have been better
and Seven Psychopats (spelling?) which I liked because of Irish boy but was weird to say the least...

loved the Something Something Marigold Hotel (sorry I have bad memory problems, and if I get out of this to google it I risk not finding my way back, extremely tired being almost 2am here)
it has some amazingly great actors: Judi Dench , Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy and more...loved it :)

Um... I watched Epic last night at our church family movie night, but I'm not sure what the last adult movie I watched... Just asked my hubby and he can't remember either. It's been awhile. We've been hooked on Breaking Bad lately, so it's either that or reading for me. :)

Hmm ... last one I watched was at home ... Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor. I am pretty sure I watched some low budget film on Netflix but cannot remember the name of it. Last movie I saw at the theater was Monsters University.

Last in the theater was Star Trek Into Darkness. Maybe? It may have been Despicable Me 2. I don't remember which one was in theaters most recently. Must have been DM2.

Last at home was... I think Ironman 3.

I think the last movie I saw in the theater was Planes. My kids liked it. At home was Iron Man 3.... I think.

Twice this weekend I tried to watch Star Trek Into the Darkness, but I wasn't feeling well and never finished it. My hubby did though. I'm not sure which is the last one before that. I think I must have watched a Scooby-Doo movie last weekend with the kiddoes. I've been watching tv series instead of movies lately.

We just watched Now You See Me and it was good. It wasn't great but it wasn't a complete waste of time either. Just before that was Star Trek Into Darkness and that was great! :)

went to see "The World's End" on our last date night... it was decent. Shaun of the Dead is still my fave from those guys. But basically anything with Nick Frost makes me happy. I have inappropriate feelings for him... :)

We saw Prisoners last night. I had been on the fence about seeing it because the previews just didn't look that great, but now that there's some Oscar buzz around it (I have a little Oscar party every year) it went on the list. One reviewer compared it to Seven, so I had that comparison going on in my head when we went in - and it pretty much stuck - same dark feel, incredibly violent. But, Jake Gyllenhall, Hugh Jackman, and Melissa Leo are great, and not only is it a thriller, but there's a true mystery going on, and all of the clues are there for you (but not in a Sherlock a ha kind of way). Very violent, not for the queasy.

Ohhh, Wendy, that sounds like something I need to see. I liked Seven and I love movies like that. My hubby actually went and saw This is the End with some guys without me...boooo! I love James Franco, Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, etc. Of course, it ended up being really, really good. *rolls eyes* we never get to go to the movies together because we have no one to watch the boys so, I get to patiently wait for the dvd.
