Down to the last 6.5gb in my unsorted Just Jaimee folder.....not sure what to do now as very little of it is complete kits, most are ancient (pre 2016 for sure) and almost no previews which makes tagging almost impossible. For context I have nearly 24gb of useable complete kits from Jaimee so its not like its a heap in the whole scheme of it. I'm just so tied to the thought that I paid for it so I should keep it

Wow, congrats on getting so much of it organized! I've sometimes had luck finding previews by searching online. Often someone pinned it to Pinterest or saved it in some other way. Another thing I've done is made my own preview by taking a screenshot of the kit folder. It isn't as good as a full preview, but it's enough that I can remember the colors and theme.

If they're things you really won't use, then let them go. But also don't feel like you HAVE to let them go. If you wouldn't use them as complete kits, would you use some of them as standalones? For example, I have a folder with miscellaneous flowers and foliage, one with miscellaneous ribbons, one with word art, etc. In some cases they're favorites that I use both with and without their kits, and in other cases I've deleted 2/3 of the kit but kept some favorite papers or elements for mixing and matching.

I agree with Rachel. If they aren't something you love or feel you would use, it's okay to let them go. I know it's hard, I struggle with that too. But, it's quite freeing to let go of stuff that no longer fits my life. I found that even though it's digital, it's freeing to let go there too.

Personally, I started with 3 kits. Well, I started with freebies first - the ones that I downloaded in the beginning of digi-scrapping that have questionable quality to them. Then I had 3 kits that I didn't like. So, I told myself it was only 3 kits, and I had x other kits, so it was okay. That gave me permission to let more kits go over the last 2 years.

Of course, you could also just tag it "Unsorted" and give yourself permission to leave it for months and come back to it. See if in 6 months you want to sort and keep or if you are good letting some go.

I've been like this... Tied to the idea that I might have paid for that, however, if it's something I know I won't ever use again, I've been deleting it, paid or not. I think I am trying to teach myself somehow that letting go gives me peace of mind. Clutter (digital or regular) leads to stress and anxiety for me. I constantly struggle to find kits and as I organize, I just go with the instant gut feeling on keeping vs not. Technically everything is backed up twice in the event there's an oops but so far there hasn't been.

It's been in an unsorted folder for quite some time....I'd like to think around 6 months ish as it stands now.
