Lasik anyone?

I've never had it done, but my husband had Lasik several years ago and has never regretted it. He has great vision now. Mine gets worse every year it seems, so maybe someday I'll do it, too.

My hubby had it done last year and I said I would never do it myself after watching him go through it. He had several complications but he is fine now and loves not having to wear glasses. Hope your surgery went well Kelly!

Thanks for all the comments ladies! My surgery isn't scheduled till tomorrow morning (thursday) but I will let you know how it goes for sure!

I didn't have a very good experience with it. My eye sight is 20/20 now after 2 years, but I now have some grey spots in my vision (most noticeable in bright light - sunglasses help). The flaps buckled after my first surgery - had to get them lifted and smoothed out - but in the meantime I had headaches and super light-sensitive eyes for 4 weeks. Once that healed and I waited 6 months my vision wasn't good enough for driving, so I got an enhancement done on my left eye (the worst of the 2). I didn't dare do both at once b/c of the problems after my first surgery. The 2nd time went better and I'm pretty happy with my vision now, but I think I'm stuck with the floating grey spots...

I know, most people have good results so there's not much chance this would happen to you. Here's hoping your surgery goes well!
