Keurig fans?

I'm the opposite of Dalis. I make a 12 ounce cup for each K-Cup and I buy the light roast. LOL

I used to be a HUGE Keurig fan but I refuse to sink money into another one. We went through 2 of them in a span of about 2 years. Something needs to last a little longer for me to shell out that kind of money again.

Kohls had a Keurig on sale this weekend, but I wanted to compare it to the Costco one before I bought. Although, I am leaning a bit towards the Cuisinart right now because of the breakage issues.

The cups are all interchangeable though, right?

I think I've given you my .02 on this before but IMHO I don't think you will like the coffee. I have yet to find one that is strong enough, they taste very watered down to me even on the highest setting.

It IS great for tea, cide, hot chocolate. We use it strictly for that, the kids love it :)

i don't have one - but someone just gave us a nespresso for a gift - is that the same idea ?! (but maybe espresso instead of coffee? but maybe they have coffee too? ) ha - i haven't even taken it out of the box yet, but will do that sooooooon!

We don't have the Keurig over here I think, at least not that I'm aware of :) but I am a big coffee drinker too and I could never ever live without a machine that do that for me lol So, last year during Black Friday we decided to buy Nescafe Dolce Gusto. and I love it so much! It makes pretty much everything from Coffee, espresso, iced tea, cappuccino to mocha and goes on. You can also mix the flavors and make your own recipes. It's like heaven on earth!! LOL
this is the one we own:

we have a mini personal plus, but you have to fill it every time you brew.

i think we're going to get this one from kohls at some point - doesn't need to be filled every time etc. and, also i will watch for when it's on sale (like now) and with a 15-20% coupon and then kohls cash.. yup. good deal.

ETA: i just wait for the kcups to go on sale and/or use coupons.

I have the 2nd one that Amy linked to, and love it! Our first one broke and after going through some support on the phone with Keurig that didn't fix the problem they sent us a 2nd one at no cost.

We do have the little refillable k-cup but I hate it. It's messy and annoying and I'm far too pressed for time in the morning to worry about measuring out coffee and then cleaning up all the spilled grounds on the counter. So k-cups are worth the money for me. I actually only pay $6.09 for a pack of 12, which is $0.50/cup and I don't think that's a bad price!

We have one, dh loves coffee but he's the only one who drinks it. I use the Keurig for tea <3 and the kids use it for Hot Chocolate.
Here's the one we have: Keurig

I am a big coffee drinker but I must say I have tried different flavors and I still don't like any. They make the coffee WAY to watery for me. I like my coffee that if you look through my french press (that's what I use for coffee) you can't see anything on the other side. I like my coffee so BLACK and thick... and my french press is perfect for me. I am usually the only one that drinks coffee in the house, so I have a personal french press and I have one in case people come over (it makes 6 cups the way I LIKE it, or 8 when it's for friends).

oooh that sounds like my kinda coffee! I'm really thinking you should invite me over, you could even make it the 6 cup way..lol.

I don't have one, but we bought my FIL one for Christmas last year. I thought about getting one and decided against it. I am totally kicking myself now. When I get the extra moolah I am going to break down and get one. He has the original one, but this is the one I want. I know I am nuts, but it is so awesome.

Kelly...I like mine strong too and don't like 99% of the k-cups out there. I do like the Starbucks French Roast and their Cafe Verona is tasty. I make mine on the largest size mug too...so if I made smaller size cups, they would even be better. If you've tried these ones though and they're still not good enough for you, I'm sure that none would work for you. For me...I love the convenience, and I think I grew to like the coffee.

Debra, after about a year, hubby noticed his coffee wasn't as hot as it should be. He called and they asked for the spout nozzle thingy to be sent to them (I assume so they know you won't be continuing to use it AND have them replace your machine), and then shipped out a new unit to us. No issue whatsoever, so their customer service was excellent too. Give them a call and see if they can help you before you buy a new one!

Thanks Jenny. I'll give them a call!!

Ok...gave them a call and OMGOSH....they're sending me a brand new machine! Holy Moly!! Thank you so much for this info. I honestly would've never thought to do this. I told them that it was over a year...I told them most likely earlier last year that I bought it, maybe even before that, but they're still sending me a new one. I just have to send them my k-cup holder inside my old machine as proof of ownership.
