Who has one? Do you love it? Which model do you have? I think want one...although I am apparently super late to the party. :giggle

I'm late too lol... they had one at the dentist office and I fell in love and have it on my Christmas wish list now, so I'm watching this thread too :)

I don't drink coffee, but one of my besties has one and he SWEARS by it. He says the KCups are a huge rip-off though-- you're better to buy the bag of coffee and measure it out for each cup you want.

we have a mini personal plus, but you have to fill it every time you brew.

i think we're going to get this one from kohls at some point - doesn't need to be filled every time etc. and, also i will watch for when it's on sale (like now) and with a 15-20% coupon and then kohls cash.. yup. good deal.

ETA: i just wait for the kcups to go on sale and/or use coupons.

I have the Cuisinart and I LOVEEEE it. This one. I didn't pay nearly that though with the sale and 30% coupon.

K-Cups are more than buying it buy the pound, yes, but I just choose not to think about it like that. I'm too lazy to measure/wash that little filter thing out. I just consider that they are cheaper than going to the Dunkin Donuts drive thru, which is what I WAS doing.

Also, you can get good deals on them. For example, Costco sells a box of 80 Donut Shop ones for $36. And Bed Bath and Beyond sends those $5 off $15 coupons periodically, and I use those for K-Cups also. But even without all that, I'd still buy them. I used to pour 1/2 a pot a day down the drain when someone would make one and only have a cup or 2. I figure that makes up for at least some of the added cost. And even at 18 for $10.99 or whatever, it's still less than $1 a cup.

We got one from my parents last Christmas and I have to say that I LOVE it! We have one of the ones with the reservoir on the side and it brews different sized cups. My husband likes to use the K-Cups and I like the little brewer you can use to brew your own kind of coffee (that way I can have lots of different flavors). We order boxes (and boxes) of K-Cups all at once online so it ends up being cheaper than buying them in store. I like that we each can brew our own favorite kind of coffee or tea. The kids like to use it when it's colder to make fancy drinks (like cafe mocha). I have to keep whipped cream and chocolate and carmel syrup in the fridge just for this reason.

We still have our Cuisinart Grind and Brew coffee pot on the counter (right next to the K-Cup machine) but we only use that on Sunday mornings when we want to have multiple cups of coffee or when we have guests over. My parents do the same thing.

I've had the one from Costco since November 2010 and I absolutely LOVE it. Todd doesn't drink coffee so I'm the only one who does. I only have one cup in the morning. When we used to brew with a regular coffee maker, it was such a huge waste of coffee. I love having all the different k-cup options to choose from. And roasted coffee beans only last a few days before they oxidize and doesn't taste/smell good anymore. I prefer this option cuz each cup is vacuum sealed so it's fresh every time I want a cup.

Best purchase ever. I've only gone to Starbucks maybe THREE times since getting my Keurig almost 2 years ago.

I loooove my Keurig! I only have one cup of coffee in the morning and I love that I don't have any cleanup! I also love the fact that you can interchange the Kcup with coffee or tea AND easily make iced coffee.

I think it would be a waste for me, because I do drink what I make in the pot everyday. I still want one, though. I just can't justify it.

I have the same one as Angie, the Cuisinart. And I love it. We've had a couple of different friends who had issues with their Keurig-branded ones, so that's why we went with Cuisinart's model. We got ours at Kohl's, too, when it was on sale for $199 and we had $50 in Kohl's Cash from Christmas shopping. That would have been ... January 2011?

I only ever make iced coffee in it, I'm not a hot coffee drinker. I make iced coffee in the morning and mix my protein powder in with it - get my coffee and my protein shake out of the way in one shot. It's super convenient for that. It's also nice because I like flavored girly coffees and Tom prefers stronger, unflavored coffee. He thought he'd use the my K-Cup more, but it hardly ever gets used.

ETA: Oh! And I forgot about the tea! I used to stop and buy shaken iced green teas at Starbucks all summer long but now I just make the iced green tea in my Keurig and add a packet of Truvia. Saves me a few bills.

I am a big tea drinker and Starbucks is getting way too much of my money right now. I know I would use it for the iced green too.

Christine, what's the cost/benefit analysis on this? I am sure you could rattle off how many green tea k-cups I need to drink to break even on the Starbucks spending. :giggle

I love my Keurig! I even made a scrap page about it! lol!

We only go through maybe 4 cups of coffee per day so the cost of one k-cup is really not a big issue. I usually buy from Keurig.com when they have $1 a box or 20% off. Even with me living in Canada it's still cheaper this way. :)

p.s. You are waaaaaayyy late to the party! ;)

Like Christine, I have the one from Costco. I found it to be the best deal. I've had mine for a few years. I love the convenience of it! My boys like it because the large size is just enough to fill their travel mugs and they can have a fresh hot cup no matter when they have to go to work. I really like the Starbucks Cafe Verona k-cups at Costco. I love the French Roast ones too, but they don't have it at Costco and so they're more expensive. If I can get them on a coupon somewhere, I'll buy them too. My dh still prefers grinding his own and using a coffee pot. He was out of town working so much before though (and might be again), so having the k-cups works great for me!

We LOVE our Keurig. We started with the mini and then moved up after about a year so we wouldn't have to refill the water tank for each cup. (I think ours is the same as the one in Renee's layout) The best thing for us is that I had to start drinking Decaf but my DH drinks Caffeinated - both of us drink only a cup (maybe 2) in the mornings so it is perfect for us. We try to buy the K-cups on sale but the cost doesn't bother me too much because brewing by the pot just doesn't fit our needs. Our girls like the hot chocolate and cider every now and then too.

I am not a coffee drinker but DG loves it, so I got a Keurig for him for our anniversary last year after hearing all the rave reviews. I got this one. I know some seem to have had problems (from the online reviews) but so far all has been well for ours.

I love that I can make hot chocolate or tea with it! :beat

I jinxed myself by commenting in this thread. My Keurig broke today. I'm not sure if it can be fixed...doggone it!! I'll look into it tomorrow, but I might need to go and buy a new one. :(

I am a big coffee drinker but I must say I have tried different flavors and I still don't like any. They make the coffee WAY to watery for me. I like my coffee that if you look through my french press (that's what I use for coffee) you can't see anything on the other side. I like my coffee so BLACK and thick... and my french press is perfect for me. I am usually the only one that drinks coffee in the house, so I have a personal french press and I have one in case people come over (it makes 6 cups the way I LIKE it, or 8 when it's for friends).

I don't drink coffee, but DH uses ours daily, usually 2-3 cups. We always have a huge variety of flavours and also bought the filter ($20) so he can brew any ground stuff we have on hand. This is the one we have - Special Edition

Debra, after about a year, hubby noticed his coffee wasn't as hot as it should be. He called and they asked for the spout nozzle thingy to be sent to them (I assume so they know you won't be continuing to use it AND have them replace your machine), and then shipped out a new unit to us. No issue whatsoever, so their customer service was excellent too. Give them a call and see if they can help you before you buy a new one!
