I took this at night trying to catch some of the fireworks from our deck on the 4th of July. When I put it on the computer all I could think of was that it looked like stardust getting caught in one of our trees!
Fun Challenge! My ex-husband took this one of me when we were at Mount Rushmore in 1994, inspired by the Kids in the Hall sketch.
Here's mine - I rarely take selfies because I'm so bad at it, particularly with my hefty DSLR, but when my friend laughed, I had to make her try one too, so we have my perspective, my perspective on my perspective, her perspective on my perspective, her perspective, my perspective on her perspective and her perspective on her perspective =)
Fun challenge! I took this photo while we were riding the Silly Symphony Swings at Disneyland. In the background is Mickey's Wheel of Death (aka Mickey's Fun Wheel) and the chute from California Screamin'.
Looking straight down onto the deck in the drizzle... those $(&^$# peaches! I've know for years that this is a story I wanted to tell.
The middle pic here is shot from the top of a hill down to the valley - it shows the cliff railway at Lynton/Lynmouth. Since it's a bit hard to see, here's the pic alone:
This photo is bittersweet...long story...but a bedouin took the pic and told us how to hold our hands...diddn't even know what we were doing until we got home and got to look at the photos on a full size screen TLPJULYinspirationchallPOST by elk2009 posted Jul 8, 2016 at 10:21 AM
Last summer, in NYC, I took pictures of the stage with the program in the foreground. This one is blurry, but I like having a picture of inside of the theatre.
I'm so glad I read this challenge before my visit to Missouri last weekend - when I spotted the new giant trampoline in my brother's backyard, inspiration struck! I laid down on the trampoline with my DSLR, set up with a 28-70mm f/2.8 lens, set to continuous focus in shutter priority mode, and had my niece jump and flip above me. The shot was totally worth the risk - LOL!

I chose to take the photo in this perspective because I was sitting down low when I saw him through the legs of the patio table and I thought it would make a better shot like this. I love shooting through things and I do it all the time.
